I hate watching film series' run out of gas, it sort of cheapens the original and Shrek is no exception. Go back and watch the first movie and you"ll remember how good it was. The second one was good as well, maybe they got too caught up in the pop culture references which ultimately tanked this series. Shame, but that's Hollywood$.

This movie was alright. Better than Shrek the Third (which was a huge pile of shit and the worst way to go with a Shrek movie), but not as good as Shrek 2. It was a satisfying ending to a great series. I completely agree with that lady. 3D needs to end. It's just a horrible idea that should have never been attempted because movies are just as enjoyable, if not more enjoyable, in 2D.

I never even liked the first one. Loosely connected pulp-culture references and shallow story. The second was ok only because of the cat, but even he couldn't save the third one. This one I'm not even gonna watch.

Thank God for Pixar and Ghibli.

Comparatively, Shrek 3 and Shrek 4 are not as great but they were alright. My nephews enjoyed themselves and I loved Puss and Boots.

I think 3D is entirely overrated. And I hate that people give low ratings to films just because they wasted their $ on a film that didn't need it. In reality, no film needs 3D, it's either good or it's not.

I completely disagree with them. My daughter loves the Shrek movies and she loved this one. She especially loved how Puss was fat and Donkey didn't know who Shrek was. I like the Shrek movies too and I have to say this is not the best by far but it is still good. If your kids like the Shrek movies they're gonna like this one.

Just because your preteen daughter enjoyed the film, like many other children, it doesn't mean it's good.

Wall E is an example of a film that is both enjoyable to children and adults, but because it has such depth to tackle emotionally deep and societal challenging issues, it makes it accessible to adults and more enjoyable.

Pandering to a child mentality and then saying it's good is absurd.

I don't Like Christy Lemire as a Film Critic. Now i haven't seen or read her earlier film reviews but the ones i have seen on WTF? she seem like she hate every movie she watches and talk down of film she don't like and i don't think i get any perspective on why she don't like the film but with ben who im not fond of his reviews ether but at least i understand why he don't like some films.. i think the one thing i agree with them is that 3d is a gimmick and sooner or later its gonna disappear
