I'm a big spurs fan and do rate Defoe Highly but he is far from being the complete striker for every one goal he'll miss at least 3 chances, he's a poacher but also quite selfish if only he'd try and play in other people, thats why Rooneys the best English front man at the moment... just a thought.

Aww man you got it all wrong. Jermain wanted to stay and it wasn't like Ramos gave him the boot. He wanted to go cause he understood that he was not going to break into the starting 11. We offered him a new contract he declined. So it's not really anyone's fault. Jermain will always be a yiddo and you know it. As a spurs fan, I angry. Defoe is the most underrated player in England. He didn't get enough playing time because IMO he's just as good as Keane, if not Better. Spurs are bringing in players that are from lesser clubs or getting older. We should be bringing in younger players. Now that Ramos has let Defoe go I am annoyed. He's pure class. Marcus Bent should be the one leaving if anybody has to.

He really should have gone. Jermain has got the pace, is able to tease his opposition with unpredictable footwork and has got the finishing to boot. Yet, he's never rated as highly as a striker 2 divisions below him. Time is still on the England man, should he make a wise decision. ( jon )
