Ron could pick up additional votes if he stated that if he becomes president he will re-open the investigation of 9/11. He can point to the many commissioners who feel the commission was inadequate, under-funded and basically a sham. Since polls show 80% do not believe the official story, he could score big points by noting such plans. It's the extra edge that could make the difference. Thoughts?

@wwwjhwhbe I have a tendency to agree with that. With modern technology it is now possible to put the ability to vote in the hands of every citizen whenever it is called upon us to do so. I am no expert but I have given some thought to this possibility. However, the overbearing problem that arises in my mind is that we can't put all the decisions in the publics hand. The country may not do well or even survive if uneducated people are making the "business" decisions. I see a need for leaders.

It's unlike Paul would ever be a "front runner"... most of what Paul says couldn't be implemented. He's more of a "pie in the sky" thinker that attracts young men, but not realistic when getting things done in the real world.

no sweet pea i hav my head screwed on. The clothes on your back, the house u live in be it rent or mortagage is owned by the bankers. The car you drive the places you go to all owned by the bankers and elite. You just think you own stuff, but its all an illusion and they can take it all away when they want. if you live in a closed /semi closed primary state , you MUST register as a Republican in order to vote Ron Paul in the crucial primary election . I suspect RP has a lot of Dem supporters who may be disappointed when they go to the polls if they do not change party affiliations . The closed /SEMI CLOSED states are : AZ, CO, CT,DEL,FL,MA,MD,HI,PA,NY,NE,SD,UT,WV,KY,LA,OK,OR.

I would love to see our government be as close to the Libertarian form of governance where you can do pretty much what you feel as long as you don't encroach upon my rights. Our entire war on drugs is a disaster. There you go, strategic mistake of betting it all on one man and the things he is still going to do. I see people putting way to much energy into 1 person and giving them there hope like one would give their body to a doctor. @Gnostic279 One of the problems in society is the tendency of the people to want war, to kill innocent peoplet. On the other hand there is the danger of the oligarchy/tyranny. Ancient Greeks & USA-founding-fathers sought to balance these two forces, by what Americans call a republic, a sort of publicly controlled olicharchy. It is a tenuous system, worse because not paired to a correct economy and Imperial sized. I think we are better of without olicharchy of any kind: true Const.democracy.

@wwwjhwhbe I have a tendency to agree with that. With modern technology it is now possible to put the ability to vote in the hands of every citizen whenever it is called upon us to do so. I am no expert but I have given some thought to this possibility. However, the overbearing problem that arises in my mind is that we can't put all the decisions in the publics hand. The country may not do well or even survive if uneducated people are making the "business" decisions. I see a need for leaders.

Based on my experience with my own heart, we are so tired of struggling and cowering down to people and taking shit from soooo many aspects of our miserable lives that we would welcome war. I feel it is our need to stand, to revolt, that is making us desire open conflict that we can face and blame for the misery.
I think these feelings will balance themselves out when we finaly make our stand and fight for this country.

@wwwjhwhbe That is how I see it. They pinch the blue collar and much of the middle-class people at both ends until it make our life miserable and we are so acustomed to it we don't even realize it. Then the wars serve as a distraction from that by pacifying our egos with feelings of "patriotism" and "unity".

@urdisturbing There were simply different outlooks back then. I'm sure that even though some of the values they had back then are not what we would consider 'good' or 'just' that doesn't mean they didn't have their nation's best interest at heart. From what we can currently see by the Government not respecting the law of the constitution America has lost a LOT of money that could have been invested in their homeland. If the constitution had been followed, this would not have happened.

Addiction is such a blessing. Millions of people have found God though addiction. The most spiritual places where God is alive is in the basement of churches where the 12 step programs are going on. In fact the only place Ive ever felt loved and had such wonderful fellowship was with fellow recovering addicts. Bill W was only a couple years sober when he wrote the Big Book and now millions and millions of people world wide have found true love and Rocketed to the 4th dimension.
