HeY buddy Nice vedio, Subscribed, Hey could you please suggest me for a good mobo in $150 with intel e 7500 cpu.I want to play crysis and nfs like high end games.Thanks.
another thing, I was thinkking about purchasing a new ati vidcard, but I heard new cards with the name "RV870" are coming out sometime this year or so, is this true so I can hold my horses back?
I have one, and I can say that it´s very good. I made an overclock with a Corsair DDR3 XMS RAM and a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, originally clocked with 2.66mhz, I can get it to job with 3.27mhz without instability or overheating! I recommend it.
how dangerous is it to overclock those motherboards these days? i don't wanna spend shit lots of money for them and burn them in the end... i am always afraid of overclocking but more and more people talking about it and the new motherboards are made to overclock...
you cant damage a motherboard by overclocking it, but you can damage the cpu, ram, video cards. but the chance of that is extremely low. you can not damage any part just by overclocking it but if you change the cpu voltage from say 1.2 to 2.0V then thats bad and it might damage it
Nice Board but the dude isn't a pro. In the bit about the 4 gigs of ram used or not being used he stated that the other 700 or 800 Mhz is being used ! since when come memory size in Mhz ? But again nice board
I have this motherboard with 2 GIG RAM memory, I"m thinking about adding 2 more GIG to total up 4.00 GIG. is that possible or will I be wasting my money because it says it only supports 2.00 GIG
Will only overclock with Intel "Extreme" line of processors. Rather usless otherwise. Also, will only accept two gig of ddr3 memory. Tried putting 4 in and machine wouldn't even boot except for safe mode. Wish I had gone with asus.
wait so this motherboard doesnt support SLI but it supports Crossfire X and 3 ati cards at 1 time? wtf is that shit- no SLI but 3 Ati cards... greaaat
interesting how intel mobos usually give an advantage and lean towards ati when ati is owned by their rival amd. would make more sense to pair it up with nvidia to give less profits to the opposing team dont u think?
i think an x48 with better OC and with better nvidia support would pwn!
You cant put 3 8800Gt's in this mobo? I was looking for a new motherboard and this one crossed my mind but he said you can only use 1 Nvidia card at a time..I was thinkin about putting in 3 EVGA 8800GT's SuperClocked speedy lil bastards in there..
My System as of right now:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Nvidia EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked
4Gb Ram
500GB Hard Drive
Dual Displays: 22" High Definition WideScreen LCD paired with a 19" HD WideScreen LCD.
This board is not "SLI." It's "CrossFireX," which is the ATI equivalent of "SLI." They are not compatible with each other, ... So if you buy a board with a NVidia chipset, you can't run multiple ATI cards, and if you buy a board that supports CrossFire(X), it will not support multiple NVidia cards. Do your homework before deciding what to get. Two ATI 3870X2's will cost close to the same as three 8800GT's but would have a total of 4GPU's rather than 3, and the reviews look great.
Certainly a matter of opinion. But if you look at "User reviews" for boards with 790i chipset and compair them to the user reviews of boards carrying the x38 and x48 chipset, you'll find that according to users, the x38/48 are more solid boards (more reliable, fewer problems.) However, ... if you'r suggestion is based on "overclocking," you'd certainly be right. If I intended to overclock, I'd probably go with the 790i chipset.
yes 750i is faster and better than 680i plus it will run the new quad core cpus which will save ya power too :D getting it in my pc build from cyberpower next thursday which is arriving that day awsome pc i picked btw :D
Because it's an ATI certified board, Intel supports ATI Crossfire and they made it that way, you can run three ATI video cards but only one Nvidia card, this board does not support both SLI and Crossfire.
im surprised this is not very nvidia compatible... i think nvidia should of had done wat ati did with their crossfire X... would've been genious.... damn nvidia....

hussainmushahid 3 years ago
The awesome thing about crossfire is that you can mix match them unlke nvidia sli.
hussainmushahid 3 years ago 2
Intel DX48BT2 or Rampage Extreme II
I will go with the intel one because that asus one is a waste of money, just for that tweakit function and that non x-fi scam sound card.
Which one will you choose??
hussainmushahid 3 years ago 4
I go with asus because that particular motherboard is for the Core i7.

hussainmushahid 3 years ago
oh how gay! im not getting this board Nvidia is the SHIT!
beavers42891 3 years ago
morons its a x48 not a nforce.duh
monsterrun 3 years ago
haha what??? i dont get it? x48?
beavers42891 3 years ago
ya x48 chipset.
all intel cpu motherboard that support sli have nforce chipset such as 780i or the awesome 790i.
while the x48 is the best chipset for crossfire.
x38 is as good. but the p45 is the lower grade model.cheaper model. and the p35 is outdated. and crossfire performance are the lowest.
just look at the chipset it will tell you if its sli or crossfire. amd chipset are different so look for them.
monsterrun 3 years ago
ohhh damn i see i gotta do some homework then
beavers42891 3 years ago
Simplest way to explain this is X48=ATI CROSSFIRE
SLI=780I OR 790I

If so how does it preform and are you happy with it?
thanks in advance :D

It would've, yeah. But nVidia was ahead of the game in Quad-SLi and Tri-SLi.
But so far, they aren't that great, seeing as how the bandwith between 3/4 PCIe x16 slots isn't x16 in all slots.
It's still nice though.
