I hate how everyone treated Jess like a criminal. It was the same with Dean when he and Rory broke up the first time. Everyone sees her like some sort of fragile little angel. Like everyone out there is just trying to corrupt her. And the worst part about it is that she lets them do this.

She slept with a married guy, stole a boat, dropt out of college etc. She is hardly an angel and that is okay.She is human..but all this "she is sooo sweet" act throughout the series is just annoying.

I guess it was kinda forgivable in the first season with Tristan, but when she went through it again with Jess, and yet again with Logan... She was in college at that point, she cannot be that stupid not to realize it at that point.

@natflix In regards to her character, I think Lorelei was seeing all the boys she dated or knew over the years. If not that, Rory is her only daughter and a sheltered one at that and Lorelei's very close to Rory. Or you could just chalk it up to needed drama within the show; everyone did treat Jess like crap.

The reason why she was angry with Jess..is because he said he loved her..and ran away.. I'm Team Jess all the way.. BUT.. in the beginning Jess had a crummy way of dealing with things.. He never talked to Rory.. he ran away without telling her... I think they would have ended up together.. after Jess grew up..and matured.. I will admit she treated him like crud with the whole Logan situation.. when she went to see him.. that was lame of her..but then again.. I always hated Logan.

Great scene between Luke & Jess.. They always understood eachother regardless which gre over th years (e.g. when Luke visited Jess in Philedelphia). Here it just shows Luke was one of the few people that really got Jess.Rory did too even if the community around her didn't like it much. Never could figure out why Rory wanted to fit the square peg in a round hole after first adoring exactlyit for being square..anyway love the scene ;-0
