IU may have 5 banners, but since Sampson left, they haven't even gotten 5 wins in the Big Ten regular season. As far as I'm concerned, they can talk about those banners all day and remain in the past that's centered around a coach that they fired. We Boiler's can, in the mean time, enjoy the present and the future in what Coach Painter can do with our program:)

The only reason they went to the little 8-team tournament that meant nothing in those days was because the Big Ten Champ, Purdue, had finals the week of the tournament, and elected to put academics over athletics. They should take that one down, it's no more valid than our 1932 National Championship via the polls.
