However, many SDAs scholars and pastors admit she copied some ideas from others. The book called "The White lie" by Walter Rea shows how Ellen copied word for words from her husband, Mr White who also copied from the author J. N. Andrew. She plagiarized by not giving credit to no one.

It clearly can't be Ellen White who soon will be dead for 100 years. If you say its people preaching her books, then you've just made her books an addition to Scripture, thus the SDA problem. Just read Matthew 24:15 to see that SDA is the real deal. Yeshua says the abomination that causes desolation in the book of Daniel comes AFTER His ministry on earth. The 1st time this abomination is mentioned in the book of Daniel is in Daniel 8:13 where it says the "transgression of desolation".
This means that parts of the 2,300 days in Dan 8:14 come after Yeshua's ministry of A.D. 31. Clearly the 2,300 days START DATE in in 457 BC & they end in 1844!

I do not know about this lady... but if any angel comes preaching any other doctrine from what we have learned.. it is false and antichrist... hopefully she did not get any of her stuff from divination.... I wonder if you meant to say... that the church accepts, teachers, evangelists and pastors and do not accept Apostles and Prophets... maybe that is what you meant to say but.. you kept flubbing over that....Prophets are people who have eyes to see and ears to hear and can explain YHWH's word.

But was John a prophet before or after? Friend like I mentioned, the context needs to be understood. Did you read the whole Chapter to see what Jesus was used for?
If you read through the whole chapter, you will understand that Christ came to proclaim His position.
If you read the parable in Luk 20:9-16 about the servants being sent and then the son at the end, it will make clear sense. God was not saying that prophets will never be used again because Amos 3:7 says He does nothing

Bible says very very clear that FALSE PROPHETS ARE KNOWN BY THEIR FALSE PROPHECIES.

Isaiah said to Hezekiah that he will die and not live. He repented and was extended in life.
Jonah said 40 DAYS! and Ninevah will be destroyed and did it come to pass? No! Why? repented. The case of the second coming is based on condition on the gospel

This is just a sample of EGW prophecy, in her book Evangelism page 236 she states: "In our land of boasted freedom, religious liberty will come to an end. The contest will be decided over the Sabbath..." and this book was written more than 100yrs ago, as we can see what the US government is doing in fulfilling this prophecy.....stripping away our freedom and rights.

If EGW is inspired by God how come she is not considered equal with the Bible and scripture by the GC of SDA?

When it comes to prophets, we need to understand how and why. She is equal with all the other prophets because the same spirit that inspired the prophets, inspired her. Don't look at EGW herself but the messages given. The messages are inspired

Are you aware how many failed prophecies EGW has Just the fact that the whole SDA church existence is based around the person of EGW should put many many red flags. The failed 1844 doctrine originates from the mason William Miller and is as far from truth as it gets/biblicaly/
Most SDA are kept uninformed
The 28 believes manual is about 50% more than the entire new testament.

Name 1 that was a failed prophecy and also please make sure your not listening to gossip because Miller was not a mason and He was not the only one who predicted 1844. I know there are many nice sincerely seeking God people in the SDA church .Take a look in our church manual page 45,46 #8,11,13...the pastors are to examine the candidates for baptism and they are to swear /the vow/ in all of the 28 SDA believes /incl.1844,EGW being the end prophet of God,IJ,+/ book which by the way is about 50% more than the entire new testament. The good news is that God is bigger than indoctrination despite where it comes from.

Ellen G White established the doctrine of annihilationism for the wicked the meaning of "eternal punishment". She taught that in the same manner as a roach burned up in a house fire are annihilated, the sinner would be burned up and annihilated by the lake of fire. In her twisted theology, both the roach and the sinner are "eternally punished: by being annihilated.

NOT EVEN God Rested as in a Sabbath keeping because Christ makes it plain that HE AND HIS FATHER WORK ON THE SABBATH, EVERY SABBATH DAY. Your prophet Herbet Armstrong is easily exposed as false by your claim that he was sent at the sixth stage of the Church era, the Philadelphia Church, one of the seven Churches of Revelation 2/3.
Seven is God's number so if He was going to send a prophet of judgement (Elijah), it would be in the seventh Church of Laodicea which mean the JUDGING of the people.
Six is man's number so your prophet was not sent by God or he would be in the seventh Church

@k12rising The problems with Ellen White to me is that many Seventh-Day Adventists use Ellen White's books as inspired from God, YET CLAIM the protestant position of SCRIPTURE ALONE OR BIBLE ALONE! You can't have it both ways! Also the doctrine of the Investigative Judgment is clearly wrong! Even Ellen White said it would be short and some at a meeting she conducted would be alive when Jesus came again! It's been 167 years since 1844 so clearly Mrs. White was wrong that it would be short!!

John the Baptist was ON earth the same time as Jesus. It is cultic to claim Matthew 17:11 is talking about Ellen White. That is as cultic as claiming the SDA church is the remnant church or the only true church. Finally what is the point of remembering the law given to Moses? The law is to point out sin. Only faith n Christ saves! Not law!

Then I asked you about Matthew 17:11. In your understanding, does Matt 17:11 not teach that there are 2 Elijahs? 1 at Christ's 1st coming (John the baptist) & the 2nd Elijah at Christ's 2nd coming??

@PreparetomeetthyGod My view of Matthew 17:11 is that a remnant people who are true Christians, as so few with exist at the very end, will have the spirit of Elijah preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. It clearly can't be Ellen White who soon will be dead for 100 years. If you say its people preaching her books, then you've just made her books an addition to Scripture, thus the SDA problem. Also the gospel of Jesus Christ is repent and turn to Christ who saves by grace. Not law. Not the Sabbath

Thanks for your reply my dearly beloved. Your view of Matthew 17:11 is correct. The only problem with it is that it includes more than one person when clearly Matt 17:11 is talking about 1 person.
Do you mind explaining where you get these people from instead of just the one person Jesus speaks of?

@PreparetomeetthyGod Your understanding of Malachi 4:4-5 is flawed. There is NOTHING in the gospel of Jesus Christ that commands men and women to keep the Sabbath in order to be saved. THAT IS LEGALISM!!!! That kind of presentation of the gospel reminds me of the preaching of SDA Uriah Smith or some of the statements from Ellen White which clearly contradict the gospel. That is your problem. You want to teach that when Jesus comes again it will be ONLY for Sabbath keepers! That is NOT the gospel

Absolutely NOT. That is NOT the gospel. The New Testament is about salvation thru Jesus Christ and his death on the cross. Not about salvation thru law and the keeping of the Sabbath. Christians have been reading the New Testament for 2,000 years and the Sabbath and the law isn't the focus of it.

If your sick I guarantee you would go to a doctor. So I don't buy that that's the only reason. Like I said, we are not catholic haters, it is the system that we are against. The government of God is His law as you see in Ps 119:142, 172 and Ps 97:2.
The church claims to be above the Bible and they have attempted to change the law of God, placing man above God and more pagan acts in the church like idols when the Bible says NO to it. Dan 7 in History and character points to no other system than this

This Elijah person is the same person who is one of the 2 witnesses in Revelation 11 modelled after Elijah & comes in the 1800s after God judges the apostate Chuch of Rome. You've got some facts right I must admit.

Just read Matthew 24:15 to see that SDA is the real deal. Yeshua says the abomination that causes desolation in the book of Daniel comes AFTER His ministry on earth. The 1st time this abomination is mentioned in the book of Daniel is in Daniel 8:13 where it says the "transgression of desolation".
This means that parts of the 2,300 days in Dan 8:14 come after Yeshua's ministry of A.D. 31. Clearly the 2,300 days START DATE in in 457 BC & they end in 1844!

I have found the people in the SDA church are down right mean and nasty! Every single bad experiences, have all been with people in the church! Most recently a young couple clearly took advantage of us big time! And an ER doctor in same church has been down right snotty to me. I'm sure many of you SDA readers will think I"m not telling the truth, but, sadly is not true.
I don't give a dammed one has the correct interpretation of scripture! When they are mean as snakes, how can this be good?

@ChryTears I regret ever stepping foot in the SDA church. Our lives were totally ruined because of this. 2 men molested my son. One was his music/bible teacher, Maurice Woods at Escondido SDA academy. And Leo Morgan, Pathfinder leader PUC area. Morgan died long before numerous victims came forward.
When we reported him, church defended him!
Woods= prison 10 yrs, but not for my son.
The stress this has caused by my sons life being destroyed has caused us unimaginable heartbreak.

Firstly I am very sorry people treated you badly but to be honest, I really don't buy that as a valid reason. Just because people treated you bad, why would you take that out on the correct understanding of the Bible. That should not be an excuse to leave the SDA church. I don't believe you will cease from seeing doctors if one treats you badly. The Bible says there are wheat AND tares.
The ONLY reason to leave a faith is because there is no truth
