lol@internet pros telling the uploader how to raise their child and take care of their cat. If the cats worst traumatic experience in life is a baby being a bit rough with it, I'd say he made out ok in the grand scheme of things.
This is too adorable. Keep the footage because this will become a precious memory. Your daughter is beautiful and your cat is precious. I have 3 cats and they love us as well. Don't mind the idiots that spew negative comments.
Ouch all that pulling...that must hurt the cat! Just hpe it doesn't scratch her eyes out one day! I used to have a cat and at times she could be very nasty...we went on holiday once and left her with the neighbour,we came back and the neighbour had been attacked and even had to go to hospital. But at other times she could be the most lovely cat ever so I'd just be on my guard x
Hmmm, the ol' stepping on a cat video eh? The foot of a toddler pressing down on the intestines, stomach and other vital internal organs of the cat is so cute. <<< sarcasm
Soo cute! But I was nervous the whole time! Lol ppl get so uptight about these videos. C'mon. Anyone who has had cats or knows cats would know that this cat could get away if he wanted to. One swipe and she's gone. The thing is that I do see both sides. Parents need to be careful tho because if the cat HAD scratched her well, that wouldn't of been cats fault. All in all, cute video, no one was hurt. Move on to the next cat video. :0)
Very cute! I love that she keeps saying 'my baby' :D I don't have kids myself yet, but we do have a 2-year-old kitty, Simon, that will probably be very much like Bosn -- he LOVES kids. When kids of any age come around (or just walk by outside) he actually gets all excited and follows them around begging to play, just like a dog. If you squish him with hugs or pet rough he actually just purrs harder. It may be odd to believe, but there are kitties who LOVE kids!
I thought I heard the baby say, "...a big hug" ... DAMNIT NOT ANOTHER CAPTCHA! Gettging sick of YouTube. Years of wasting my life on stupid captchas made by fat rich idiots. Idiots.
Though the cat flicks it's tail, which usually means they are unhappy, it's obvious that he choose to be there. He could easily have walked away, yet seemed to lie down almost anticipating her, wanting it.
She is a bit big, and I'm not sure what he could handle if she managed to put her entire weight on top of him while walking across, but most likely he would have jumped up if it became painful, before any damage would have been done.
This is a loving kitty with a very devoted baby =^_^=
Come on, give the cat some credit. They're more sturdy than what's implied by "poor cat" and the likes of it. If the cat felt mistreated, it would get up, give a scratch and go away. That's the thing about cats, they don't put up with stuff. Regards - Vet of 15 years.
Up till towards the end I was thinking okay yeah well natured cat the kid isn't being overly rough, after about 2:25 that kid is fucking lucky she didn't get a claw in the eye. This shit pisses me off as the baby won't be blamed for ignorantly instigating a retaliation from the cat, however the cat may be put down for acting in a manner that literally translates to '' Stop annoying me, stop hurting me, stop holding me down ''.
Sad enough if parents don't teach their children to pay more respect to a pet as soon as possible. Those parents are crying out loud at first, if something worry happend to their children and the lovely pet ended up in an animal shelter or more worse..
ok people who say "poor cat who does this to there pet? such terrible people" if the cat had a problem with it, it would just get up and walk away. if it really didnt like this it obviously wouldnt just sit there. and this is very good for the baby. it help teach her that animals are friends. if you never let your child do this then they will never learn or end up being afraid of animals. its not torturing the cat. the cat probly actually likes the attention
that poor cat why did he subject himself to that lol. You've got there is a very patient cat, mine back home is also patient but I dunno if she would've tolerated that much. It definitely is a cute video through.
You can't say that their parents should be demanding that their child knows whats right and wrong at that age. The child appears ecstatic and loves cuddling up to her furry friend and cat doesn't even appear to mind; if he did I would be sure he would have got up and disappeared to a higher spot.
I really can't believe the amount of hate this video is receiving. The parents appear to be intelligent and if their daughter did do something harsh they would have sorted it out straight away. Dogs and cats, especially dogs, will be docile and patient with a young child. Its natural for them to do so. It's lovely to see this cat snuggle up with this young girl and it shows how wonderfully natured their cat is. Remember their daughter isn't that old, rights and wrongs are more like games then
what i find funny is if the cat did attack the baby it would be the cats fault, it's crazy, you wanna thank your lucky stars that the cat is so patient, but your thinking about your child more than the cat, you have someone twice your size crawl all over you and see how you'd feel, the cat most be in pain, also your teaching your child that it's ok to do whatever she wants to the cat, great teacher!
@wender474 chill out? why is it on youtube if you dare to have an opinion this is what you get? were you watching the same video as me? the cat did try to get away a few times, the baby kept grabbing hold of the cat stopping it from getting away!
@DindellaTheDefender Cat IS adorable. I have three and if you just look at them wrong they walk off. A cat can get away anytime they want. That cat deserves a reward! Best cat ever. So sweet to be nice to baby..
@christi40 <3 I'm 18 and I hardly remember spending any time in my life without a cat. Cats are truly amazing creatures, each one an obvious individual in every way much like people, despite all having at least a few things in common. Odd thing I've noticed is that some cats just like children because babies express love at full force, even if they don't know how to be gentle. My cat Guard is a jerk, but has divine patience and loves my Godsister for her persistent baby-version of a death-grip.
@DindellaTheDefender did you read any of my comments? the cat did try getting away, the child should have been taken away when she started grabbing hold of the cat, it's funny if the cat had hurt the child it would be an entirley different story, but oh no because the cat didnt do anything it's ok, sorry but with my child i wouldnt have taken that chance!
@Rainielovealways You act like cats are completely unable creatures. In reality, that cat is perfectly capable 100% of getting away from that kid if she WANTED to. Again, I've owned cats my entire life and I was a very mean little kid. Cali and Kati, despite being DECLAWED, could easily outrun me and jump out of my reach. Cats aren't disabled creatures.
@DindellaTheDefender What if that moment to get away was after the kids foot or knee with the full weight of the child behind it - broke one of the cats ribs though? Is a "cute video" worth that because it's just an animal? I mean look at the video again. She wasnt a baby-baby anymore.
I was happy that the parents stopped her from pulling his hair at the very least.
(and if you were a mean kid I hope you got your ass tanned accordingly for it.)
@LimeyKat Cat's are not that delicate..if the baby started to put too much pressure the animal would have reacted...trust me cat's can take care of themselves..they would have a hard time dealing with other animals if a human infant could break their ribs
@darkoni12398 I own a cat. They are not tanks. It's not a sign of a good pet owner to be that oblivious to the fact the kid weighs considerably more than a cat and should not be allowed to kneel on or be allowed to attempt to step on a cat or smaller dog. If it were a big dog obviously the scenario changes some. Still parents need to teach kids early not to be too rough with their pets.
@LimeyKat Kids are kids, smarty pants. And if this cat were really unhappy that kid would've gotten at least a swat from that cat. What I see here is an every day situation between a good cat and a toddler. Cats aren't tanks as you put above, but they aren't paper dolls either. Especially NOT a cat at that size. My current cat is as big as he's going to get and is half that size, which, might I add, the cats size was probably picked on purpose BECAUSE they didn't want their pet getting hurt?
@LimeyKat Animals are not idiots and they do react on their own. They do not operate on batteries. If the cat would have felt any pain or uncomfort beyond his capability to cope with, he would have told the girl clearly by raising his hair, hissing or even lash out and/or walked away. Clearly he is enjoying himself somewhat, pointed out by his movements of his tail.
@DindellaTheDefender Ive also had cats all my life too, and when i was born my mum had a cat called Tina, i used to drag her under my baby walker, the cat scratched me across the face, my mum put her outside and she never came home, so dont tell me cats are not capable of hurting a child, some parents may take that risk like my mother took, but sorry i wouldnt, and weather you agree or not thats my opinion.
@Rainielovealways We had a cat by the name of Katy who fell off our roof and landed on concrete two stories down on her face. She was FINE. Busted her lip and that was it. Cats aren't paper dolls, they're sturdy animals.
@DindellaTheDefender Well she was lucky, and im very glad she wasnt hurt, my cat died a month ago so i know the hurt when an animal gets harmed/dies, but every cat is different, that situation with her falling from the roof could have been very different.
Maybe the cat is incredibly patient and tollerant but also you as parents should teach your own children what behaviour is good towards animals and what is bad. That the animal also feels pain. Please take this under your consideration even if your cat is most patient in the world you are still reponsible for teaching your children to treat animals well...
that cat is perfect for baby size to hug. Nice big fur coat. For me...err adults to do it, a cat big enough to hug would probably a tiger or lion raised in captivity..or even a liger :)
i useto have a cat but my mom droped it at the psrv it was vary patient cat my baby sitter useto pound on her but she won't do a thing maby it was cause she was a mother 3 times
I agree with the others, you should teach her to be more gentle with the cats. He may be patient and tolerant but his patience was running out quickly.Note the tail smacking on the floor and the fact that he got up and moved away. Not all animals will let her do this to them.
@PennyLester I agree wtih him. Obviously he seems amicable to an extent, but past a certain point (the grabbing) you guys should've interceded. The cat was probably being more diplomatic for fear of retaliating right in front of you than because he enjoyed that kind of grabbing. It was cute at first, then it got not right for the cat and you guys acted way too late imo
It's not funny. And it will be even less funny when your baby tries to do this with someone else's cat or dog. I agree with Missileberry that you should have done more to stop her.
Instead of just watching and recording, I feel that you could have tried to stop her from grabbing and pulling at Bosn. Not all cats in the world are as patient as Bosn. As harmless as you may think this is, please teach your children to be gentle to animals.
this is so adorable. it is wonderful to have animals in your life and children and your animals are so patient and loving that they endure just about anything. it is great i think for children to grow up around cats and dogs it makes them better people in the long run to learn responsibility and affection for all gods creatures.
Such a chill cat, mine back home is rarely ever calm and even when she is and I am resting with/idly scratching her she randomly goes crazy and suddenly scratches me - she doesn't even walk away, she scratches first - no questions asked.
We adopted her from a shelter though, so she probably has some violent/survivalist habits from her kitten days.
before you thing im a smartass, i tell you im writing and researching about animal instinct for my thesis....what i get is, cat in normal emotion can definitely knows is it a baby/kitten or not just by their instinct, so it knows that baby play with it...for a stupid that loudmouth about how cruel the baby's parents are, just shut it and learn something first before speak

Please take this under your consideration even if your cat is most patient in the world you are still reponsible for teaching your children to treat animals well...
viddynow 3 days ago
@viddynow If the cat was hurt or hated it, he had plenty of opportunity to walk away from the baby. Chill out, it's cute

I bet the cat is just like in its head: "Please, child any time today you can get da fuq off me..."

OH MY GOD. That is THE cutest thing ever! She seems so happy and the cat tolerates it and doesn't even seem annoyed! NAAAW!

if my cat was big like that,i will wrestle with him!
buffaloitukerbo 3 days ago
that cat is perfect for baby size to hug. Nice big fur coat. For me...err adults to do it, a cat big enough to hug would probably a tiger or lion raised in captivity..or even a liger :)

Baby doesn't want kitty to leave, is all. And kitty knows that! So cute!
fllyannabelle 3 days ago
I agree with the others, you should teach her to be more gentle with the cats. He may be patient and tolerant but his patience was running out quickly.Note the tail smacking on the floor and the fact that he got up and moved away. Not all animals will let her do this to them.
PennyLester 3 days ago
@PennyLester I agree wtih him. Obviously he seems amicable to an extent, but past a certain point (the grabbing) you guys should've interceded. The cat was probably being more diplomatic for fear of retaliating right in front of you than because he enjoyed that kind of grabbing. It was cute at first, then it got not right for the cat and you guys acted way too late imo
Gameguru667 3 days ago
@Gameguru667 I agree with you. I don't own this cat or baby though. I didn't put up the video. Sorry for the confusion.

i guess it's true that cats and dogs know that babies do sh*t like that
kingleonidas1097 3 days ago
It's not funny. And it will be even less funny when your baby tries to do this with someone else's cat or dog. I agree with Missileberry that you should have done more to stop her.
snowflakemtn 3 days ago
Instead of just watching and recording, I feel that you could have tried to stop her from grabbing and pulling at Bosn. Not all cats in the world are as patient as Bosn. As harmless as you may think this is, please teach your children to be gentle to animals.

this is so adorable. it is wonderful to have animals in your life and children and your animals are so patient and loving that they endure just about anything. it is great i think for children to grow up around cats and dogs it makes them better people in the long run to learn responsibility and affection for all gods creatures.
teddybearnhearts 4 days ago 2
Adorable.
On the other hand, isn't it dangerous that the child could swallow hair and this could lead to medical problems?

From what my mother tells me, our old cat Tilly was just like this with me; so patient and would never bite or scratch
TalesoftheAbyssftw 4 days ago
im suprised the cat didn't scratch the baby's face off!
DrumOlly 4 days ago
