I know! I was definitely surprised by that

Stadium LOVES to exploit Critical Hits. And in Round 2, they love to flat out FUCKING CHEAT, like using Focus Band or Quick Claw two or three times in a row, or having any Ice move the opponent does freeze your Pokemon (with an impossiblity of thawing) about 50% of the time. It's fucking insane how much Stadium cheats in Round 2.
