what you have may be a road grader blade. most graders have a blade on the bottom of the LARGE blade that actually scrapes the ground. they are made to be replaced and sometimes they would weld them on as well as bolting them on. nice video! :)

Yeah. It was deep in the brush, buried about three feet down under the topsoil.

That was one of my original guesses, too. The object was later identified as the blade edge from a road grader.
