Well it's two years past Frost's prediction that Paul would retire in 2010, which to him was so far away that it seemed farfetched. Just goes to show we have no idea what's going to happen in future....although it's noticeable that in this interview Paul doesn't have any inclination to do anything other than what he was doing then: writing songs - which he said he'd do for other performers if he couldn't sing them himself. He was born for songwriting and performing.

The movie also answered many questions I had growing up then in the late 60s & early 70s on the Beatles. The reason on going to India? The why's of John Lennon's death & divorce? @Godzie1 go on youtube now and watch videos that people have made that show pictures of Paul Mccartney side by side and photographs that have been overlapped THEY MATCH. The photographes were taken bofore 1966 and after 1966 and they even show photographs of the 69 year old we see today and they match the photographs of the 20 year old Paul Mccartney. THE FACIAL STRUCTURE IS EXACTLEY THE SAME. The photographs have not been tampered with.

1967 I was 9 but still remember that Paul was my childhood crush. News of his death was on tv, I cried. Then Life magazine came out w/the pictures of Linda & Paul, when I looked at them...Ew what happened to him? He was different...longer jaw, protruding chin, much different then the cute Paul I childishly loved! Then came the album rumors etc. But Gilbert's movie 40 years later? I fully believe!

The black and white clip was filmed in 1962 the coloured clip was filmed in the 1980`s ITS THE SAME PAUL MCCARTNEY JESUS WHAT MORE EVIDENCE DO YOU NEED TO PROVE HE DID NOT DIE IN 1966 AND WAS NOT REPLACED.

a) I love how Paul plugs his bridge in "From Me To You" while describing it as being "doable" with a ragtime feel. He has mentioned this middle eight section for years, because it was the first time on a pop record the composer chose to switch to a minor key - contrary to the rest of the song. b) Right now, in 2011, Sir Paul is very close to being "in retirement"....so Mr. Frost wasn't too far off. He pulled a number...a year...out of the sky...and it's remarkable how accurate he actually was.

Does anybody out there have the 1968 David Frost Interview/ Paul Hosting the Show ? I saw it as a child when it aired but never online. I only found one reference to it in the David Frost Archives. And it's not the Beatles Performing Hey Jude either, it was Paul alone in a Sweater talking to Guest..., In Color.
