I'm not trying to jump on the "fuck CoD" bandwagon because it IS really pretentious, but...
I had a friend who got MW2 a few years ago. I played it with him for a few weeks and got bored with it, and then shit hit the fan.
Whenever we hung out together, he would sit on the couch playing CoD with his noise-cancelling headset on, preferring his online friends to his real ones. I couldn't talk to him, and he didn't seem to acknowledge my presence.
Whenever I played a game like this he would take one look at it and say something along the lines of "wow, the graphics are terrible, this game sucks."
At that point, I didn't really care about his opinions, because we didn't do anything together anymore. It was to the point where I would just go over his house and watch him play CoD.
I didn't want to lose a good friend. But I had to.
I've lost so many friends over the years, they've been sucked into the black hole of no return that people with sense know as the Call of Duty series. My friend completely ignored me and started talking with the CoD fanboys. I've moved on since then, I dunno how far he got in life so far. In a basement somewhere, probably.

One reason I like Lucas more than Ness is that Lucas became a social outcast over three years just because he and his father knew what was really going on and didn't get happy boxes. Prior to then, everyone was sympathetic and supportive. But, then they became content with life and disregarded Lucas's sorrow. However, Lucas still built up the will to not give up. And then, one day, when he heard of a bassist resembling Duster, it all truly began for him...
@Alucardworshipper Yeah I agree with ya, although I will always have Ness as my number 1 favorite character in all of the Mother series. He was always crying since his mother's death, but overtime he started to become strong and move on, starting his incredible adventure and eventually had the whole fate his home and the world on his hands..Didn't mean to spoil some of that. But I do feel more for Lucas during the course of the game.

In the case of lucas i like him for the complete opposite. He HAS a background history ( a really tragic one) He evolves during the game (grows up, stop being a crybaby) You don't imagine a lot of the character... But the character itself is really interesting

@Arceace Itou estated that during the production of mother 2 of the game most of the employees were single , when the production of the GBA mother 3 was going on, they got married (even itou itself)... He says that affected the way he developed the game... And i felt that... This game have a LOT of love for the family compared with the second. And to be honest... Never expected the of the first chapter that way, Because of the other 2 games having so innocent starts. This one really sadden me.
@homelessgeek Actually, you can play mother 3 if you use an emulator. All that you need to do is download Visual Boy Advanced (a GBA emulator) and then go to doperoms.com and search for Mother 3. There are also videos on youtube if you happen to get lost along the way. I was once like you not knowing how to play emulator games on my computer, but after searching around for a little, I was able to figure it out. Hope you can get started soon!

Er, Communism has nothing to do with no money. There is a traditional system to buy goods, called bartering, which has nothing to do with communism. However, that is how Tazmily used to be. They were never communists, otherwise, everyone would have to listen to the government, or Master Porky. Which, I guess that's what ended up happening, but they had quite a bit of freedom. That doesn't happen in communism.
@gamegod9000 They had something resembling the era before the money, but without any king or something like that... If they gave something to someone, they did because they wanted. An example is the bakery.... You give some nuts, they give you a cookie... Later they just sells bread. The shop gifted items... But later they start to sell them. I don't remember the Yado.. I think they rent rooms now aswell. Both capistalism or communism uses currency, both have leaders... Tazmily no.
I felt bad at this point...technology ruined everybodys lives.....they thought you NEEDED a happy box...JUST to be happy...and they just forgot about what happend to hinawa......

Actually, the beginning of the song reminds me about how in the middle of a game (a long one like Mother 3) seems like the game would last forever and at the middle of the song seems to me have a little touch of sadness in the theme while the end is just a little creepy and reminds me a bit of Porky and Earthbound...

Actually, the beginning of the song reminds me about how in the middle of a game (a long one like Mother 3) seems like the game would last forever and at the middle of the song seems to me have a little touch of sadness in the theme while the end is just a little creepy and reminds me a bit of Porky and Earthbound...
