Ich kenne ihn aus der MEDEA unter Maestro Lamberto Gardelli mit der unvergleichlichen SYLVIA SASS. Auch ein wunderbarer Sänger mit einem männlichen Timbre. Aber JOSE Ist aus unerklärlichen Gründen weitaus bekannter gewesen......? Von den alljährlich immer wieder neu erfundenen PAVAROTTI-Nachfolgern ganz zu schweigen. Einfach nur lächerlich. UND im deutschen Fach haben wir statt Wunderlich (der späte), Sandor KONYA oder Reiner Goldberg die Herren Vogt (eIn Buffo!!!!) und Kaufmann.....

Be', quando si ha una voce così bella... Oltretutto Luchetti è uno dei pochi che non commette la stupidità di cantare come se Macduff stesse implorando il perdono di Dio per Macbeth. "Possa colui le braccia del tuo perdono aprir" dev'essere intonato con raccapriccio e rabbia, perchè è la cosa peggiore che si potrebbe augurare il nostro povero Macduff. Comunque voce bellissima, proprio quel che si dice una tipica voce italiana.

This wonderful tenor was incredibly underrated. Such a voice merited to be heard in all the most important opera houses and should have been more recorded.

One of the most interesting and beautifully sung version of this I've heard, even if he occasionally sacrifices beauty of tone and technique for a dramatic effect; for example, the very last note is too "open," pushed, and unprotected, but audiences go wild for that sort of thing.
