yeh, shame the graffitti ruined proud old buildings that have stood since early post war, training men for suez, palestine, falklands, etc, and some little twat goes and chucks paint all over it !
A nice ollection there, well documented, makes a change to see some real artwork instead of just tagging. I wonder how much monet went down the drain when they closed the base, makes you wonder, Thanks, Andy.
@Bentley240 I agree, I can't stand the mindless graffiti that appears almost everywhere nowadays. But there is some really good art here that took time & patience to complete.
I spent 4-6 weeks here in 1969 on a leadership course after qualifying for Petty Officer.

My dad was stationed here as a chief petty officer in the late 80's. I have good memories of the base, sad to see it in a mess.
