  • Yeah, and all 7 billion should have a Ferrari, innit bruv?

  • An ironic, simply and real “Theatre piece”. Dramatic and humouristic in the same time.

We could put ourselves in the participant observer’s shoes, listening with a cup of tea in our hand, the weird clutter which come outside. Water, electricity, Greenbelt’s hassle and even the polar bear extinction, immigrants or native Africans will be called upon to answer to these problems...

A smile on my face..and gooesbumps.

  • 'one in, one out'...hilarious depiction, yet this sketch riddled with irony is so very true in its portrayal.

I've witnessed people who are exactly like this having similar conversations about anti-human ideas and I can tell you its a far cry from funny!!! Governments endorsing birth control, the most outrageous thing I’ve heard - paying people not to have children, even the green belt, and what do they have in common...PREVENTION OF GROWTH! As the top-hat bigot (apologies to actor ;)) points..

  • ...out the need to consider "the bigger picture", well thats just it they are failing to see the bigger picture of the wonderful and endless possibilities 7 billion and more have to offer to the great human race and world we live in. The solution isn't to think small by restricting & limiting our human creativity, productivity and resources, but to inspire and nurture it!

  • Never realized how truly anti-human the over population argument really was until I saw this. There are a lot of ideas, much less politically correct, expressed in between the lines of the OPT argument than their PR execs lead us to believe.

  • Hahahahahaha! This is BRILLIANT! I’m still laughing my head off. Captures brilliantly all the outrageous Malthusian prejudices about overpopulation. Cull the thickies!!!!

  • So funny! It makes me realise how the overpopulation argument is nonsense. I particularly liked the discussion about polar bears: “it should be 7 billion of them not 7 billion of us”. I think that sums up all the absurdity of some statements.

  • 7 billion people on the planet - got to be a good thing, surely.

  • Fnarr Fnarr Are you saying this is the Guardian reader's alter ego? I think his shooting ( I presume the film crew) is fitting at the end- afterall Mr Cull em all wouldn't shoot himself would he.

  • The funniest thing is that this guy is like Alf Garnet crossed with some other stuff on Acid. Down with the breeding darkies they say, civilise them with condoms and career ideas when the bottom is falling out of the world economy etc. Population control people are like bottom of the garden fairies, telling real women not to 'engage'! I say ENGAGE!

  • Hilarious- totally cracked me up - can't believe he came out with this stuff- sums up the over population lot though if you pack all their ideas together thats about it - the cull outfit. Population Matters should rebrand as Copulation matters.

  • This is so cool, the guy is unbelievable, wanting us all die, or at least the thickies! Still, the so called serious and well respected people who argue that we need to stop populating the planet with humans are coming out with the similar stuff - they are just not funny like this one!
