Definitely one of my favorite series, the characters have depth to them, appearances aside. You could watch the whole thing through just to see the last episode, and it'd be worth it. The Epic of Gilgamesh as a plot for an animated series is brilliant!

Exactly! Besides, the original manga for Gilgamesh came out in the 70's (no joke! look it up). You have a group of 10 young, made by man, half-gods who have a great power. You have another group of children with the same power, although I won't tell you how did they get this power. This anime had great potential to be a deep dark and involving story... instead it's a deep dark dirty hole filled with Goths and bad dubbing. Seriously when you watch it you will kick your self at the awesome potential Gilgamesh has. To much teen drama in this anime. Worst fight scenes ever, all they do is stand still and shoot energy balls at each other and ... teloport away. Don't get me wrong this anime is still decent and warents a watch if your looking for something different.

Iv seen the entire series, and personally i love it, its a great anime. Its about a bother and sister caught between two sides fighting ( i wont say why) but both sides need them to help their cause, and they arent sure which side is good or bad. The characters fight with Dynamis, which is the greek word for Power, its kinda like enery waves, they live in a world with a mirroring sky ( reflects the buildings n stuff) due to a terrorist attack, theres much more but i dont wanna give it away. ;]
