Was this ultrasound in east melbourne? did you ask them to guess the gender at the 12 week scan? Im going there on monday and will be almost 13 weeks and wonder if they will tell me what they think the babys sex is.

It's a pic of the bottom view so can anyone have a look for me and have a guess. Its my lastest vid and that pic is at 4.26. Thanks

@KCFEEN did u ask them to find out the sex for you? Cuz in order to see the sex (most of the time) you have to have a BOTTOM veiw of the baby...u cant tell from side pictures of ur babys who body. You should have had them tell u the sex if u wanted to know.

Depends on the tech, if they are experienced with early gender id or not. If you get a good side profile shot of the baby with spine flat and not curled you can get a pretty good indication of what sex it is. The legs have to be out of sight too. If you get one of these pics, feel free to let me know and I will take a look at it for you. Congrats on the baby and good luck.
There is a new way to tell. It's the angle of the genital tubercle in relation to the spine. It has to be a side profile shot with the babies spine flat. My u/s tech got the wrong angle and wasn't overly educated in the technology. Some are very easy to tell at 12 weeks now. 12-13 weeks is the best time to tell.
No.........told at 12 weeks boy. Then at 19 weeks, it was a beautiful baby girl. After two boys, it was a wonderful surprise. We called her Sophia. Thanks for looking!
WOW!!! Congrats!! I wish I were you at this point. I also have 2 boys and was told that I was having a boy at 12 weeks 2 days. I was devastated as you probably understand yourself. I don't have a video though. All I have is an image from underneath the baby between the legs and it looks like 3 lumps together. However, the mid bump looks a little more out then the two outer ones. I wish he was wrong and won't know till next week but in your video I can't tell where they saw a penis?
Do you have a side picture of your baby at 12 weeks or just the 12 week toilet shot?? If you have a side view I could tell you whether I think it's a boy or girl. Did the tech tell you boy by looking from underneath? If so, that isn't accurate at all. The only way to tell that early is a side shot of the genital tubercle. I have researched it a lot. If you want me to look at your pics before your big scan let me know! My tech didn't look at the angle of the tubercle and he should have. Claire.
