  • Holy shit, Graham Chapman's moment of insanity is HILARIOUS

  • I'm pretty sure that he's drunk there. Even so, he does a good job.

  • Yeah, I think he is too. He stumbles over his words a couple of times. But his "crazy" looks are brilliant.

  • DINSDALE!!!!!

  • Well, I'd noticed that the lad... with the thermonuclear device... was the chief constable for the area"

    Hahahahaha

  • "Dinsdale was a gentleman. And what's more, he knew how to treat a female impersonator."

John Cleese is simply perfect as a sober, educate transvestite.

  • This is supposed to be a spoof on the Kray Brothers who terrorized London in the 60's....

  • I like how almost all of the comments visible on this page are quotes from the video.

  • So I decided to open a high class night club for the gentry at Biggleswade with international cuisine and cooking and top line acts, and not a cheap clip joint for picking up tarts -- that was right out, I deny that absolutely -

  • Sancho Panza (Mr. Organs) spoilt an otherwise impeccably choreographed rape scene by his unscheduled appearance and persistent cries of "What's all this then?"

  • one of them was carrying a tacticle nuclear missile

  • A murder is only an extroverted suicide!

  • thats the best line with Graham's face hehe

  • "As for the performance of Superintendent Harry "Snapper" Organs as Sancho Panza, the audience were bemused by his high-pitched Welsh accent and intimidated by his abusive ad-libs."

  • lol, i did not expect the minister of silly walks.

  • NOBODY EXPECTS THE MINISTRY OF SILLY WALKS! Wait....

  • "A murder is only an extroverted suicide" lol

  • Dinsdale ... ?

  • Yes the CHINESE watch... goodbye...mother. ,SHUT THAT BLEEDING DOOR! ...mother. lol

  • "Dinsdale was a perfectly normal person in every way...except...except inasmuch as he was convinced that he was being watched by a giant hedgehog he referred to as Spiny Norman."

  • Yes, i think it's just called mrs premise and mrs conclusion.

  • I love the way Spiny Norman goes "Dinsdale!...Dinsdale!" I think Terry Gilliam did the voice as well as the animation.

  • John Cleese was so good as the female impersonator that it took me a while to recognise him. (back in 1971) One of his best bits of acting.

  • "Sancho Panza (Mr. Organs) spoilt an otherwise impeccably choreographed rape scene with his unscheduled arrival and persistant cries of 'What's all this then?'.

  • Dinsdale....Dinsdale!!!

  • Never mind, Snapper love, you can't win 'em all!

    Oh, merde, Superintendent!

  • what i love about flying circus is that many things that pop up earlier in the series makes appearances later on in the series, after this sequence w/ spiny norman, there is a gilliam toon later on in the series, in which a giant hedgehog pops up behind a building and calls out "dinsdale", and i love how the gumby's keep popping up.

    Spiny Norman

  • Muhihaha.... The Silly walk........:)

  • a glittering performance of rare perception.

  • probably the best python sketch

  • "...the chinese watch..." mmm, that's a scream.

  • and he knew how to treat a woman's impersonator....

  • after all, a murderer is just an extroverted suicide.....

  • Palin is great, but Graham has the best part as the criminologist: "After all, he only did what most of us simply dream of doing...I..ghr....I'm sorry!" and so forth. Brilliant.

  • No Graham has the best part as Vince:

"...and Dinsdale's there in the conversation pit with Doug and Charles Paisley, the baby crusher, and two film producers and a man they called 'Kierkegaard', who just sat there biting the heads of whippets and Dinsdale says 'I hear you've been a naughty boy Clement' and he splits me nostrils open and saws me leg off and pulls me liver out and I tell him my name's not Clement and then... he loses his temper and nails me head to the floor."

  • I stand corrected... :)

  • Yes,then... "He NAILED your head to the floor ?" "At FIRST yeah !" Ha ha !! But i LOVE Stig O'Tracey "No NEVER,NEVER ! he was a lovely bloke, used to give his mother flowers an' all that !" Ha ha "But the police have film of him nailing your head to the foor" "ah..yeah well he did do that yeah, well he had to didnt he ? there was nothing else he could do... i had transgressed the unwritten law" "What had you done ?" "Well he never told me that etc." Ha ha ha ha !

  • "Everyone was terrified of Doug...I've seen grown men pull their own heads off instead of seeing him.."

  • .."he was a happy looney"..

    ..."the watch"..

I love Palin!!! he is hot! and so funny!!!

  • He used...sarcasm. ROFL!

  • I managed to keep a straight face in the beginning, but the criminologist just broke me down. "...a murderer is only an extroverted suicide. Dinsdale was a looney BUT he was a happy looney. Lucky bastard!" ROFLMAO!!!

  • One of them was carrying a tactical nuclear missile...he used sarcasm! ROFL

  • NOT SARCASM!!!
