Thats slander, Ive never heard Obama or Clinton say they oppose gay marriage they just said they wont exceed their authority when trying to grant equal rights. If this is true then it is an injustice and ironic considering the other side supports freedom and equality, though I guess its just as ironic to support discrimination based on orientation but complain about dis" based on beliefs. I cant find any explicit evidence of her breaching contract, details of that issue r sketchy at best

I agree it is interesting that she was stripped of her crown because of her personal beliefs though she did not break or breach her contract. I also find it interesting that Obama stated the identical views last fall and has shown he has flip-flopped his own political views throughout his career. He also promised to remove troops and still has not, in fact, we are sending out more troops and the US in more debt than ever and Obama gets the nobel peace prize. Thanks for your comment.

This sounds ridiculous. I think they should give her her crown back. She should be allowed to speak her mind. I think this reflects badly on the Miss California organization. Stop the drama and give her back the crown she worked so hard for.

Trust me, Miss Prejean is on to bigger and better things. She was prepared to relinquish that title if they initially found her answer "inappropriate." She'll be all right.

It was alleged that there were tens and tens and tens of events she was not there for. However, she was only scheduled for two the one month prior to the Miss USA pageant. And when asked they could not give even one specific contractual event she did not show up for.

I find it interesting that we are trained that we should 'care' about the opinion of the group of people who care about nothing more than themselves meaning the Miss USA and Miss Universe organizations or even the media in general, which by definition really is liberal and always has an agenda. I also find it interesting that those who are alleged 'professionals' could not even notify her that they were releasing her from the Miss California crown, they cared more about pandering to the media.

It is clear this was a setup from the beginning. She still has not turned on anyone with words of hate despite the pile of BS that has been heaped upon her since this began. If anyone has gained my respect it is Miss Carrie Prejean, I'd like to see anyone go through what she has and stand up half as well!

That is she accurately represented the majority of those from her state who voted proposition 8 into law.
