I like both but I get have to say the true DC is better Superman Cap.Marvel Manhunter The Flash Green Lantern was in a list of the most powerful superheroes without counting Thor was right between Marvel & Manhunter

I actually like both Marvel and DC a whole lot cause i grew up liking characters from both and buying lots of comics and my subjective opinion is that it would come down to the cosmic characters if these two Universes really went all out on each other. Silver Surfer is not violent but if he wanted to he could take out half of the DC characters himself not to mention Galactus, Doctor Strange could beat Superman by himself, anybody else onslaught kills

DC. I prefer their characters. Take Batman for example... He is completely human, yet he is such a hero to Gotham. And look what Scarecrow can do with his fear gas, and yet he is unarguably human. Superman is just epic in my opinion. Green Lantern is powerfully strong and has a good background.

Marvel is good, yes, but it hasn't got an Universe online like DC (Yeah I know Marvel has alot of Games, but still)

Spiderman is stupid. He gets bit by a colourful spider, and wham, he is Spiderman.

i would say that lantern vs ironman would be a good match up and definetly ironman would win because if lantern destroys one of his suits in a battle (which i doubt) ironman would just get another one hes got like 200 of those suits plus hes a super genius even smarter than bruce wayne(batman) so with only ironman marvel would kick ass

and for all of u who say ironman is not smarter than batman heres a hint -ironman makes his own suits

-batman has an old dude make them for him

Yeah, Superman is nothing compared to Silver Surfer and Galactus. Actually, I hate Superman's design. He's basically Invincible Man with one achilles heel - space rocks! Pretty lame.

I think if you're judging by most powerful characters, it's probably DC because they have more godlike characters, but I think Marvel's 'gods' are more powerful than DC's.

As a brand I like Marvel more. Spider-Man, for instance, appeals to me way more than Batman and Superman.

Superman was killed by Doomsday.. Hulk would tear Doomsday apart. The only reason Superman beat Hulk in Marvel/DC is because it was vote based.

Recently i have discovered one major difference between the DC heroes and the marvel heroes. I noticed that all of the Marvel heroes all had an accident in the past or are outcasts. DC heroes all (without Batman who got his parents killed and then went bat) got there powers naturally or through an objects. I don't know if i'm wrong people may correct me.
