Hey mate can u help me, i have after effects 7.0 and cs4 and when i try to inport the blood splatter clip or any other clip from the action movie essentials it comes up with this messege (Error. After Effects error: File "Blood_Birst_060.mov" is not a valid file type for inport.) Do u know whats going on here? How can i fix this?

i got action movie essentials fine, but when i go to put the muzzle flash into sony vegas the black isnt removed from the effect so it doesnt work...wat do i do??

Because you need to go in video fx and press on chroma keyer and drag and colour to the blood clip or what ever and theres a bar what comes up with a colour chart on make sure you set it to black and the effect clip needs to be in a lower video track than the clip you want it to be ontop off

Use another program, AE is not the best for editing audio. Anyway, in order to listen you must pre render the selection (Ctrl+0) Then you should listen.

to tell you the truth i think those blood splatters were meant to be used to splatter the camera lens not the walls. The splatters' texture looks like its on glass rather than on a wall. but still pretty good, may i ask where you got these?

you bring them into after effects by going to file, browse. that will bring up adobe bridge, then from that program you can view them, just double click and it will bring it into after effects for you to use.

You can get the Action Movie essentials pack from Andrew Kramer at VideoCopilot . net for about a hundred bucks, though you can download free/incredibly cheap explosions, muzzle flashes, blood and gore from Detonation Films.

doid100 they used adobe to edit on, the effects are from the action essentials pack, a dvd collection containing blood splatters, explosions, and other effects.

on to the video, not bad but blood would run down walls when freashly splattered like that. not quickly but it would drip. the initial effect looked good until the wall splatter stayed.  id work more on the aftermath of it to get a more realistic effect.
