@077bik 325td and tds has 80mm pistons on m50b25 they are on 84mm diameter , the idea is good for m50b20 owners witch has 80mm pistons diameter like m51b25 and if someone take crank pistons and rods from m51 and put them to the m50b20 block it lwill stand m50b25 with higher torque than original m50b25 ;) and with proper tune of ignition advance and air fuel ratio can take high boost without of problems :)

@pbsgph original it was 320 non vanos m50b20 engine 150ps, now it is custom made 328 with iron block from m50b25 ,it has also 82,8 mm crank from m51 2,5 diesel , forged 135mm rods and forged 85mm wossner pistons for m42 it is 2817cc 469hp,540nm on rear wheels boosted on 1,6 bar of boost

So the diesel crank, rods and pistons go straight into an m52 block? or do you mean just the crank? as i'm wondering how the CR is so low as diesels have a high CR.

@laurieh i am running with iron block bored from 84 to 85mm. I don.t know for m52aluminium block how it is. and cr is so low because of the pistons :) they are not original they are85mm forged wossner pistons 135mm rods are forged too only crank is from diesel engine with 82,8 stroke

Power is nice, but when either the engine is constantly rev-limiting, or the wheels constantly spinning, that's when you realise power is nothing without control. I'm hoping BMW will never involve too much with turbo powered petrol engines ... they increase power but decrease driveability. I'm hoping the car in this vid. remains on a track, cause it has no purpose on the streets.

i think you change the clutch every 1000 km... or how many km do you do with a new cluth? Does it slip on high rpm?

im a big bmwer fan but man if ur really want to put lots of money into u can do it. the tubo kits online some of them are ok. but look into dem befor you buy one. bmwers and alot of money so if you got the cash go for it if you want power stock go after a mk3 supra wit the 7mgte witch is turbo all ready quick cars

The pistons are wossner 85mm made for m42 engine but i put them on m50 block with 135mm forged rods made for m50 b25 and crank from 325 tds with 82,8 stroke this is custom made m50b28 not with aluminium block like stock m52 engines

10x there is still a lot to do i am on stage custom made traction control ,i can stop spining the weels even in 4-th gear

in my BMWs i use same SteeringWheel, mine are SPARCO, even OMP is the same, the point is tose Raceing-steeringwheels are very light (weight less than original wit airbag)

thats important for drifting, raceing, speeding.

I must say you build great engines for BMW (im big fan from the 318iS Turbo) ;-)
