  • That construction site is my grandmas property...i grew up playing on the deck behind the buildings and jumping into the bayou off of the polls. They had to budd dose that down. The house that was on that property was in my family for many years. it is no longer there. it still is unbealiveable to see all that i have ever known gone...my home was washed away....my stuff is all over the island.

  • i don't live in Texas, but i'm in North Western Florida, we were MIIIILES away from the hurricane, and we got winds of up to 50 mph!!! the surf was so high even the life guards didn't want to be on the beach! also, in NW FL, im bound to get nailed my a hurricane sooner or l8r

  • The media took their eyes off of Galveston.

    I live about 4 miles from here and worked by the park at the construction office,what was left of it.I had damage and was able to save some stuff,but these people had NOTHING to try and save.Good Video.
