with this workout it takes probaly at least half of it or more to reach a good heart rate. it will take even longer if your in better shape. im sorry zuzana i love your videos but this one i completly disagree with this one and i think most trained professionals would also. If u would like to explain your logic more in depth about the length of the workout i would love to hear your point of view
A general rule of thumb is to perform at least 20 minutes of cardio. Now that's the minimum, let's get to the real deal. People that are successful at improving their endurance and burning more calories and fat push for 25- 45-minute workouts. Just sprinting for 8 seconds, resting for 12 is high intensity, but it still needs to be done over a period of time to be effective. Remember, its about getting into the fat burning heart rate zone and staying there and 4 mins isn't enough.

I hope you are taking a Joint supplement Zuzana. I would hate to see your condition in a few years if you aren't already. Those exercises have a very high negative impact on your joints. Also with females' higher risk of osteoporosis it may be a good idea to start a bone supplement as well. It sure wouldn't hurt to be ahead of the game.
My sister has problems with her knees (she can't bend them a lot)...can you make a video for a good workout that doesn't stress on the knees. It'll be a good challenge :P

@lauralikes Yeah...the oatmeal and quinoa shouldn't need to be "earned". They are healthy grains that will balance the blood sugar and help eliminate fats, while giving a body the energy it needs to do these workouts. Especially for vegetarians, you need these things for protein and many nutrients in the first place. It's not really a suprise the vegetarian diet didn't work for her. Earn the white breads and sugar...not the foods that fuel you!

@lauralikes ..with the stuff that she is sharing with us (weight loss and how to firm your body), yes it is a treat.thats the whole point of this.not eating ten lbs of oatmeal.its about teaching us how to put healthy, foods in our body that will eventually save us from heart disease, clogged arteries e.t.c jeesh

@lauralikes Don't be ridiculous you're looking at the workout as if it's a punishment and the food is the treat. It's just a different way of consuming the carbohydrates it's not a 'treat' it's just a motivational way to work out.
