@mrbrntly - because they are terrible sir, compared to the other forces in the SWAC such as: Jsu, Su, Txsu, and even Uapb are all heavy-hitters in the swac with Major accomplishments in regards to their music programs. Not to take away from Bama being "most improved",

But asu still falls behind as far as popularity, their accomplishments, and consistency with their band. They are a big band with no clean sound.....Sorry
