  • @gamlastanarn "Teddy" is a nickname for "Theodore" - just like "Matt" is short for "Matthew".

  • So, as a general guide to Biblical names, names that end in -a or -ah are Hebrew, and names that end in -as are Hellenized Hebrew or Aramaic?
