  • What are they doing to the beatles Music

  • 2:40 - Yes, that's right folks, Craterface the Pimp!

  • For me this is the best song / segment in the entire film! Frankie Howerd, retro arcade videos games, Lurch from the Adams family and vocoda synth / funk base!!! ...it dont get much better!!!

  • OOPS! Just noticed the post below!!

  • Does anyone know if this is Max Middleton (of Jeff Beck group fame) on the Vocoder / keyboards???

  • @iommifan123 It's Steven Tyler, apparently.

  • The town looks a lot more fun after Mr.Mustard takes over!

  • ta mejor la original esa vozecilla funk la caga

  • They tried to make a reasonably genuine homage to the Beatles - Using the glitz, glitter & glam of the 70's. Part of me wants to dismiss it as a " polished / golden turd ", the other part really wants to like it.

It's been a long time since I've seen this movie. I had it on VHS back in the day.

  • I have to admit I actually like this song! It's funky, and totally different. It's really not bad, and what a time capsule! Frankie Howerd is off the wall as well. Some things just make your mouth hit the floor and star in amazement. This video is one of them!

  • @jc1305us I like this a lot too. Max Middleton and Bernard Purdie are on it, so that's half of one of my favorite '70s groups Hummingbird. Plus George Martin produced and arranged it,

  • Keyboard solo close before end excellent

  • I fucking love this movie...

  • Is that the Back to the future Hill valley set?

  • its been so long since ive seen this

  • Why?

  • Titter ye not!

  • What the fuck?!

  • Singing robots. Exactly what The Beatles would have wanted.

  • @Trogdor250 - I agree. The more celebs & plot devices they jam into this, the crummier or campier ( or both ) it gets. A Beatles homage by 80's musicians sounds like a recipe for disaster,a la Captain Hazelwood & the Exxon Valdez. I still liked some parts, though, proving that a turd can be polishable.

  • @knoxvilleguy2 man I gotta know who the bassist was in this track... Fucking awesome.

  • @Trogdor250 Hahaha!!

  • Where can I get an MP3

  • Such a mean old maaan... Nndtt nnndttt I love that movie 19 yo and open mind wahaha

  • I loved being a kid in the '70's. There were plenty of freaks, and plenty of weird things going on (this film included), but it was all in the spirit of fun.

  • this could be the worst nightmare of my life... but after all...I'm only sleeping... :)

  • lol

  • Great jams on this album, and the worst movie ever made.....

  • this fucking rocks

  • this movie sucked bollocks, i wish the beatles had done a movie like this 10 years earlier it would have been better.

  • CORICIDIN MUSIC FOR REAL!!! DXM in the 70's!!

  • The Computerettes actually had names, y'know. :-P They mentioned 'em in the novel, though they didn't say which was which (especially since there were three in the book). I think two of them were Martha and Irma...

  • At the risk of sounding ignorant, there was a novel?! Where is this and how can I get it?!

  • I would definitely check Amazon for "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" by Henry Edwards. You may be able to find it cheap.

  • where's this from?

  • This is from the movie "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band" starring Peter Frampton, The Bee Gees and George Burns, with guest appearances by Aerosmith, Steve Martin, Billy Preston and Earth Wind and Fire.

  • I wonder who did the computer vocals? It wasn't the Bee Gees... (They only did them on "She's Leaving Home", I think.)

  • I think it's Steven Tyler. I have yet to get the software to be sure, but more than likely, it's him.

  • I think it was Tyler and the Bee Gees.

  • P.j soles was probably there somewhere

  • Don't forget the beegees and Alice Cooper as the SUN KING!

Smashing performance by Aerosmith CLASSIC MOVIE so silly

  • shes all like "whatever" at the end

  • Whats really good fun is to play the Beatles song at the same time as this version

  • this movie just proves the cosmic certainty that something can suck and be gloriously entertaining at the same time. (and i think 90% of the music is genuinely cool.)

  • Love the old-school Atari arcade machines, especially Tank and Shark Jaws.

  • What is this movie called?

  • Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. A golden turkey if there ever was one.

  • Okay, thanks :] Never heard of it before.

  • It's not THAT bad. It was a musical from the age of "Grease" and "Xanadu", what do you expect?

  • Good point. I would much rather want to watch this than have to endure Grease...

  • Yeah, "Grease" gets on my nerves, but I do like "Grease 2."

  • Here's the kicker: the producer and director was the same guy who did Saturday Night Fever and Grease...I guess the third time's not the charm, lol. And you're right: it really wasn't that bad...some of the songs were done well.

  • Oh, I know. He did "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Tommy" as well.

Unfortunately, after this, Stigwood's luck remained bad - "Staying Alive", "Times Square", "Grease 2"... I never saw TS, but Staying Alive was AWFUL. "Grease 2" is surprisingly good, even though it tanked - better than the original, I think.

  • this is very weird. Especially those robot vocals.

  • I love this crazy movie! Can u post Steve Martin as Dr. Maxwell Silver Hammer??

  • best movie ever!!!

  • Frankie Howerd Rulz!

  • You know plenty of cocaine was involved in making this train wreck.

  • I always felt that instead of the sax, they should have used either a french horn or bassoon.

  • Robots, funk and George Burns. You're all set for the night.

  • Took me at least a minute before I realised the robots were actually singing rather than just buzzing tunelessly...

  • It's actually the Bee Gees (along with Steven Tyler, I think) singing through a vocoder.

  • I read somewhere that The Bee Gees, Steven Tyler and possibly Sir Paul himself may have combined on all of the robot's singing vocals. Cool thought!

  • Sir Paul had nothing to do with this movie, despite several websites claiming he (and George) made cameos at the end. I'm not actually sure this is the Bee Gees though, they were never credited for it. (They DID, however, do "She's Leaving Home" - note how different that sounds from this.)

  • Frankie Howerd in his first and only Hollywood film!! A long way away from playing Lurcio in Up Pompeii!! :P But, it's worth it to see him in the same film as the Bee Gees, Steve Martin, Aerosmith and Alice Cooper!! :D
