Hmm From what Ive understoood...Her boyfriend mistreated her, cheated on her and..stuff. She's kidnapped him and is basically kind of gone a bit crazy, she's trying to act as though everythings normal almost as though shes trying to make him realise what he mistreated.

Then when the police turn up its like REALITY CHECK. She lets the boyfriend go, the boy realizes how much he mistreated her and that he made kinda insane, but shes also realized it was him that was in the wrong, not her and
