i have silver racing stripes on my 05 ss and they faded and got all burnt and faded! has that happend to you?

nice ride man. I want an 06 or 07 SOOOOO bad.....I have a 02 red SS with the silver ground effects. I want to put the LS$ in it. I like the front end of the 2000-2005 better than the 06-07

its to bad that GM did not add the oil and volt or amp gauge. that is my only hesitation from buying one . i have a mint 02. i know there is a big difference in the cars but the 02 high sport also has a nice interior and gets a couple more MPG but is only a 3.8

I know several people who bought the 3 gauge "A" pillar panel and installed aftermarket gauges just because of that.

@Cirux321 thank you i never liked to mess around with any aftermarket electrical pieces. but i guess it's okay people put in dealer installed remote starters, alarms, but i never like it unless it came from the factory. electrical problems can be a nightmare. i like things stock. the pillars are nice but to radical for me the Monte is a luxury sport coupe. with the pillars it makes it like hot rod all sport car.

i used it year round, except in snow, but now im in college so the car is in the garage.haha and dosent get much use..lol

thanks, it wont slow down its overall speed but it would be more dangerous to go fast in it or accererate quicky or take corners more sharply becasue ur higher off the ground

Where did you find the SS headrests!?!?! I have looked everywhere for them! i have an 06 SS myself and i just have to have those headrests!

those are the stock headrests...i just bought the SS logo and put them on with rubbing alcohol and very steady hands...lol....but yea they look awesome it gives the interior more of a sporty look too.....i got them on ebay..i was looking for them everywhere too and found them on ebay......its like one of those companies on ebay not an individual guy selling used stuff.

as you probably can tell i am nuts with my car.lol hence my approval of them.lol...yes they're vinyls and they are durable...i still clean my headrests with the same stuff as my seats

The 06 and 07 are identical,2007 was the last year for the monte, I just happen to luck out and grab a low milage 06 SS,mine is not as nice looking as yours {white} good looking rie dude, hats off to ya..

thanks alot man, yea th e06 and 07 are pretty identical with some minor differnces like the rally stripe and ground effects....but the power is all there....good luck and congrats
