I liked that storyline too. It really made me do a double take when Ezekiel suggested that Spider-man's powers were organic and not from the spider bite. Morlun... wasn't quite as intriguing for me. Civil war and one more day... even less.
I've never actualy finished reading the comics, now i cant get them mostly anymore, could any one tell me what happend in the last comic (last story).
While many people may not know how difficult (and time consuming) is to gather so many images and make a slide-show with them, I'll tell you this: you did a great job!
I made a similar slide-show, but it's about Uncanny X-Men, so I know the effort you put on making this video and I will give you a 5 star raiting.
It took quite a few hours and a few attempts with different software to get it to add all the pictures without crashing, but after the images finished populating the songs were very easy to add. then anoth8er couple hours for the movie file to render. Roughly 5 hours total. it's much easier than editing film clips together. That really takes some time. then fading effects. It's very time consuming.
a 5 minute clip can take 6-8 hours. Thanks for the compliment though! Take care.
the idea to put comics in sealed bags came about in the 90's. If a comic came out in a bag, then they are worth more in the sealed bag. but the earlier and more costly comics were never shipped in bags. In fact, they were probably bundled up like you see newspapers or magazines before delivery to a newsstand or a subscriber's home.
My dad bought #1 when he was little and then when i turned 10 he gave it to me and i now display it proudly on my comics collection shelf along with my Grandpop's Captain America #1 and my dad's other comic Hulk #1.
I almost wish I was old enough to have all of that stuff from when I was a kid, but you can oly do so much with when and where you were born. Thanks for sharing!
I have most of these, but not in this good a shape. none of these photos are of my own collection though. I'm short about 60 issues of the full run of ASM.
that's peter approaching a young man going through a very painful change. that story is nearly 3 years ago now, and i don't recall his name, but I don't think there will be a repeat appearance for the character.
there are two songs. the first is the crystal method's weapons of mass distortion from the legion of booom album, and the second is traci lord's control (instrumental) from the unforgettable fire (i think)
most of the 90's issues are selling for about $1 per. so check out mycomicshop. com, and you can find most all of those issues. I started collecting in the mid 80's when the black costume was introduced. I have all but 70 or so of the entire run now. it wasn't cheap, but when I was in Iraq, I decided i would splurge. :) nice hearing from you. Jay
Cool. I had most of the first 100 issues many, many years ago. I remember thinking that the series was getting out of controll when he grew 4 extra arms. Steve Ditko was the best, an awesome talent who laid the groundwork for everything that followed.
I don't know if it's complete. I know it goes up to somewhere around 520. I'm sure that I missed some of the variant covers. That's all I know for sure. they are in order though.
I just got ahold of the instrumentals from spider-man I and II I'm debating on whether to redo it with that music instead.
Well, I've been collecting for many years and it sjut seemed like i had all the these coverscans sitting around not doing anything. I'm just glad it isn't a total bore.
Covers wise - I've never liked 302 up until vol.2 29! When it gets v cool again.
