Suspended Seating.... Just looks like the seat arrangement on the Pedersen bike from 1894 out of Denmark. The P. bike seems to be more ingenious though because it absorbs the seat load as compression stresses in the frame below rather than as bending stresses in an overarching view-obstructing frame.
Combine the RaceRunner and Pedersen Bike concepts and you get a GlideBike that has the same features as the GlideCycle but might be more useful for those with more significant disabilities.
If you like the Glidecycle you might also want to look into the "Racerunner Bike". Search for it on Youtube or on Google. One US Racerunning Site even provides instructions for building your own. Also check out th Allabilitycycling Site which provides a history of racerunning going back to the mid 1990s.
