TJ has moved from being a libertarian to being a "liberal" because liberalism (as americans understand it) carries more intellectual cache. He is a fat piece of lard and a snobbish opportunistic douchebag. I still watch him occasionally, but I've lost so much respect for him.
@Pikabolch3 He is still paradoxical. One day he says we need more taxes. Then in the very same day, or on Blog TV, he says that he thinks that taxation should be voluntary. This is not just a change of mind over a period of time. This is diametrically opposite positions taken on the exact same day.
Evidently all taken out of context. I've seen the videos and, for example, "i am a libertarian" was a sarcastic remark. He's a libril. His views are centre left. This is obviously his view, i think you should have a better look at him and see he's rather consistant.
@salamut2202 I have been following him for like 3 or 4 years. I know what he thinks. And this video is a summary of what he said. That is some major inconsistency. At one instane he claims to be a liberal, then the next moment says he think taxation should be voluntary. You did not even see his blog TV sessions or his comments where he admits that a government should be a corporation people can buy into or buy out from. How is that consistency?
@ArtinEmil You know that his videos are made over several years right? He has moved from being a conservative libertarian to more of a liberal. I've watched his old videos compared to his new videos and he has changed quite a bit in his political views.
