@WillTheFace the chords sound pretty easy to me...Give it a go, I'm sure you'll do a good job of it. And the guitar solo? Even I could play that! Good luck!
Fantastic memories... my friend Niki and I hitched around the country after these guys in the early 90s. Happy days, uncomfortable nights trying to sleep in phone boxes. Really Scrape the Sky is still my favourite, but this one has my name in it, so... Queen Jane ftw. Hello John!
I remember seeing this video just once in 1993 on "super channel". Never heard of that band or song again. But I do remember being mightily impressed by the way the drummer handles the snare drum. Oh and those lovely English beaches!
Love this band so much. Somebody needs to put out a rarities/outtakes collection, they had like three full albums' worth of top-notch songs that weren't on albums.
cool music, cool band. I live in St Leonards-on-Sea where this was filmed, and I don't remember it ever looking as good as it did in this video, 4 someting years before I was born. And they probably had to saturate/brighten the sky even so.
yeah, I spotted the saturation editing- at 0:31 the moss growing on the groynes in the background (groynes are beach divisions to prevent longshore drift from washing away the shingle) is way more green then it is in real life.
Brilliant, I've been looking for this for ages! I remember buying 'Sleepwalking' on cassette the very next day after seeing this video. The lead singer always reminded me of Buddy Holly. Thanks for posting!

True Indie music at its best! Check out Armchair Anarchist - this band captures the zeitgeist in spades...

I came across this band by accident a couple of years ago - glad I did. Sleepwalking is a lost classic, shame they didn't make it.

Great band - nearly made it - trouble is the bands that tended to support them did better than they did, they were true kingmakers

ahhhhhh...it's gratifying to know i'm not the only person in the world who remembers this band.

lol patsik asked if this is a 50's.
Fuck not! Their clothes are 60's style somthing of rockabilly. But their rock is i think more similar at indie rock or something else...
cya.
Simonezzz 3 years ago 2
Erm... I suspect Patsik was talking about the guitar being from the 50's.

I saw them live in Stanmer Park in Brighton.
They were awesome.
Apparently their lead singer had some issues though.
Last I heard he was happily lodging with Justin Frishman, righting scores for porn films.
They could and should have been massive.

Hastings Seafront isn't it?, I recognise that building in the background :).
