@Thundralight Hitler and Mother Teresa are both what I call "god", as is everything. The underlying intelligence of all. God is light, and therefore also darkness. Because they go hand in hand. God is in a way the contrast of all things.

@Thundralight Yes, that's how you think. =) I think of opposites as the underlying force in life. Without opposites, we would have nada. You can call them different, and say they are not the same thing, or you can call them the same thing. Yin and Yang you know ;)

@Thundralight just as Yin and Yang represent the opposites, the black color in the symbol can be thought of a separate thing, than the white color. But in whole, they are part of the same symbol. So, just depending on how you look at it, it can separate, or one. That goes for the whole of cosmos.

@Thundralight but opposites or the 2 opposing forces form a 3rd element black and white form grey. Up and down form the concept of center, yes and no form maybe the 2 comming together that form the 3 male female form child a 3rd element or meshing of these 2 . Dark flow-we are speeding up&dark matter are being seen by scientists and showing that we are only seeing around 30% of the universe. Dark meaning invisible to our eyes but they know it is there. This has scientists totally freaked out.

@billyboy385 God is pure goodness and in him is no evil . God is light and in him is no darkness. Ye shall not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or know of the fruit evil produces. Was it God who actually tempted us? or just forbidding something to us that caused evil it ito spring forth in us?

Hide and seek, on and off, peaks and valleys. You cannot draw a convex shape without simultaneously drawing a concave.

@TheLovesoul1 It's not bored. I think it's the whole "you can't have dark without light." We need contrast. How would we know how great happiness is without pain, and so on. That's what I was trying to say with the convex and concave thing. They are opposites, yet can't exist without each other.

What's interesting to me is that, I believe that it was the Mayans who presented the numerical symbol for nothing (0), or zero. A fairly egg shaped symbol. If all life is birthed from nothing or zero, maybe that symbol actually represents potential. A question of starting at potential and building from there by conscious intention. Thanks Yolanda, you find some really good ones. Watts was brilliant!
