  • . . .seriously? Well, I guess it makes sense that you'd go for the "weeaboo" argument -- it's not as if you could defend this dub on its intrinsic aesthetic merits. In fact, I believe I see the potential for a bold new advertising campaign for FUNimation: "'QUALITY?' THAT SHIT'S ONLY FOR WEEABOOS."

  • @echizenkurage because having space smugglers transitioning to a global unified language would obviously mean English is less preferred over Japanese. Let's ignore that it'd make more sense for the story itself to be in English or Chinese. Let's throw out elements that would make the plot more credible.
