I bought this game two years ago, thinking it'd be decent like Okage--AND THEN I SAW HOW WEIRD IT WAS. :U

Oh yeah, I've seen that game before. Okage: Shadow Master or something. Is it any good? I'm not a huge RPG fan, really. I'm getting into the Shin Megami Tensei series though.

"Okage: Shadow King" is something that Tim Burton would've made. Whenever I play it, I think of his "Nightmare Before Christmas". The story is a traveling circus drops an urn on the road and your father finds it. He takes it home and shows it to you (the boy) and the family. Your sister becomes cursed by having her shadow turn pink and you become possessed by the Shadow King who inhabits your shadow. All these imposter Shadow Kings show up and you have to go around defeating them.

Anyways, the character and enemy models are very stylistic and the humor is out there at some points. The battle system is turned based but when the party actions are put in, the enemies move at the same time, cutting battle time down. It's a funny and interesting game and I really like it.

If you see even a tiny bit of footage of a Treasure game, you can tell that it's made by treasure. I found that out when I searched for a video of Dynamite Heady and looked at the icon that popped up when Beau said "Target!" and the little arrow thing said "Target" above it, in the exact same style as the "Silhouette" or "Mirage" indicators on the game that I'm obviously talking about.

Actually, Prinzdam from Silhouette Mirage has these segments of its body with what looks like eyes on the side, there's a boss on this game, Siren, which has an attack that involves a creature with a very similar design, eyes on the side and such. So yeah, the style of their games are pretty similar.
