Sorry, but there's nothing impressive about that. Those moves were pretty average, if not under.

It's not possible to play well AND fast. Usually world championship final matches take 4 to 6 hours.

When you get halfway through the game when tactics is needed it's difficult, as you seen they were slowing down toward the end. The opening is mainly memorization and if you play constantly the flow of the game becomes more natural and doesn't require as much of the hard thinking to calculate moves. Though still impressive and better than me.

When chess is played this fast, it's just not really entertaining, and the quality of the game is probably about class D or E. It's impossible to really make any calculations to make the combinations that make chess beautiful.

@dovespin1 There are many players, like Nakamura, who are very good at fast chess and can make complex combinations and great middlegame play despite spending less than a second on each move

@donkwich I think they're playing good chess, but I doubt the combinations are very complex. Probably mostly instinctive moves since they have familiarity with a position, and the great combination comes when the opponent blunders grossly, and the fortunate players snags a piece or pawn. In blitz chess, I can believe great chess is being played. Bullet chess is just "who blunders the least wins". You have to agree the games are worthless from the theoretical point of view.
