My band does this too. What the drummer from F.O.B. does is he keeps his right hand mainly on the floor tom while his left hand alternates between snare and high tom (roughly, he does a few fancy things aswell). Then as a bridge into the verse he does a VERY simple (quaver notes) rol on the toms, then dos a more complex roll twice as long to finish with a cymbal. =]

Took me a while to get it, but it all flows nicely. Hope that could be of help.

well although i agree that that kid is a dick head there is a difference....although it isn't as much brand as price level. when you get into different price levels you get different manufacturing techniques. for example i prefer zildjian simply because of their alloy that they use. their alloy came from turkey over 300 years ago, as such it is one of the most time tested alloys around. Also just so you know zildjian invented the high-hats and crashes back in the early 1900's in association with

Well sabian is better, in my opinion. Their aax studio hats/crashes/rides, are not only cheap for their quality at $599 for their performance pack, but will take a beating as well as retain their amazing sound and look at the same time. I believe that the jump from ZBT's to A custom's are good, as zildjianlad54 stated, but the jump from B8 to AAX is also very good, while i also think that B8's sound better than ZBT's...no hate mail please, its only my opinion.
