  • SUPERASTA....KOCHAM TE SŁOWA !!!

  • For you ERNIEHYDE.....unless you have ever had a real experience with Jesus there's no way you can ever know just how real He is. You need to get your facts right....there is proof of who He is, where He Was buried, the garden where He prayed. He is the only REAL person who ever walked the Earth !!!!!

  • This is a close as I can get to being realistic about life as we know it. I would like to consider it as my Bible. The Universe extends far beyond what we all know. I wish I could tell you what. However, this little poem/song will do for now. Dave

  • You have not studied the science of what brought us here. Jesus was probably a good bloke but he was a few million years to late to be believable. Sorry but this is a fact.

  • That was totally awesome! Love this song and video!

  • This writing was NEVER meant to be "Christianized"...How DARE you!!!!!

  • How dare you criticize someone taking this

gentle wisdom and personalizing it for him

    or herself.?

Life is not exclusively about your intrepretation; didn't you listen to the message? :-)

Find peace and be joyfilled in others'

    peace.

  • It was never not meant to be Christianized either, remember the words "Be at peace with God WHOEVER you conceive him to be"

That leaves us all to interpretation as to how we express our faith and by whatever means we choose to do so.

Faith is personal to each of us and each of us has an equal right to share with others our own interpretation of our faith, this does nothing more than that and does not detract in any way from the meaning given by the message itself.

    Thank you nice video...

  • RIP Les Crane - Thanks for recording this inspirational poem/song.

  • RIP Les Crane 1933-2008. Death from natural causes.

  • YEAH, I AGREE! GOD IS GREAT...GOD IS GOOD...ALWAYS! Thank you so much for this wonderful, excellent and very inspiring video.

  • Exhilarating and soul searching. I thank you for this video from the bottom of my heart.

  • WOW I was looking for this in Inglish and I found it!

Thank You God and thank you neji909

  • Loved this interpretation. Simply aweson, although I have to ask: since this ia from the album and not the single, was the album's coda not included on the cd reiisue? It's a repeat of the 'you are a child..." but at a slower pace. I think that would make for a great ending for a video of this tune. Thanks and God bless!

  • [*]

  • Este video me parace exelente, eres una gran persona, felicidades!

  • Wonderful

  • I had this memorized with my sister...its awesome...i used this to guide me through the times I trudged my journey alone in this world.

  • I have this poem on a poster for years since 1976 It's been hanging on my wall and it has done the same thing for me,Ahmeehyst.

  • I remember as a child, I had the original record of this magnificent masterpiece.

  • Superb! Takes me back to my childhood many years ago in Kenya. They actually played this on the radio - the good old days....

  • I remember this growing up in Jamaica and I know the Lord is the center of my life he is my strenght and inspiration. My day would always say be good to those who do harm to you...you are a child of the Universe

  • When I uploaded my version of this, I decided to do it in text. People understand better words they create in their own minds.

This recording is arid and disenchanted.

  • just when i was emotionally dead, thank you [john howard got me ione_under_g_d banned from yahoo because god gave me to see that most posters on his yahoo7 site were on 103 point[101 when we join, and 2 for asking one question[i was on 7787 points and because i dared to speak to him he cencured all my posts and yahoo banned me [thus i came here ;to find the visions for the words i tried to write there[god will be done ]i so love the living god of grace, thank you

  • Hola!muchas felicitaciones para aquel/aquella que hizo posible este fantastico video, pues con el aprende uno ha valorizar todo lo que nos ofrece la vida,DESPIERTA;APRENDE A VIVIR!!!!!!!!

  • one of the poem that influence me, just like "the little prince"

  • the whole point of the desiderata is that it is for everyone it it does not state any religion. this is sending out the wrong message for such an important piece

of writting. the desiderata is nothing to do with jesus what so ever so please stop it. christians have enough bibles to read this is just one small poem that i happen to try and live by. I am deeply offended by this

i have nothing against anyones religion but please this is wrong.

  • i agree..i love this poem.

  • OMG I havent heard this in years n years. I do have acopy of it somwhere, but just dont get around to listening to it. I have a framed copy of this prose in almost evryroom of my house. Thank You for sharing it around

  • ¡MARAVILLOSA!

  • have the book and love readin it

  • This song makes me feel happy and very good.

  • Pardon me. Not Max Crane. Les Crane.

  • "Desiderata" was written by Max Ehrmann (copyright 1927). I think that was where you were getting Max from. Les Crane recorded it in the early seventies. I love the writing but I don't like this piece done by Les Crane.

  • Probably. Over the course of my life I've heard about half a million 'origins of Desiderata' stories. I fell in love with the poem in the '60s, the song in the '70s, but only with the advent of Google was I ever able to get the straight story, so the new facts and old data probably got scrambled in the old wet-ware.

  • The song is called "Desiderata", by Max Crane and his orchestra. You can still pick it up some places. Try Googling for it. Amazon may still sell it. It's like Rocky Horror. It's long since a classic in its own right. I'm frankly deeply offended that a non-denominational poem like this would be used as a vehicle to promote christianity, but it is nonetheless an incredible poem, and a fabulous song.

  • Pardon me. Les Crane, not Max Crane.

  • totaly agree this is a classic that has been sabotaged by

    christians

  • Let's not be negative here, please. Christians have not sabotaged this piece, they have used it. I anticipate that you are not a Christian but we can all benefit from the teachings of Jesus, even if we don't accept his divinity. In ancient Athens there was an altar to an unknown god. When Paul saw it, he rejoiced, because in a forest of darkness there was one tiny glint of light and hope. I don't ask you to believe. Just open your heart.

  • Where can I get a copy of this soundtrack? Album? Artist?

  • try "limewire"

  • How did I get to be 43 without hearing this? Great!

  • awesome awesome video, God Bless!

  • les paroles de ce chant sont merveilleuses, stimulant à avoir confiance en soi, merci pour ces paroles viifiantes.
