  • Great, but it would be much better if it wasn't for the very lame act of putting fender decal on an obviously not fender! Just why on earth did you do that? To feel better? That headstock doesn't even look like a fender one. Good looking bassa apart from that, nice playing.

  • omg, i need the tab for this song!! i want to cover this with my band so much but never found a bass tab! please send me a link or a tab!!

  • why the thumb rest is in that position??? why there???

  • Way back in the day when Fender started making basses they were marketing to guitarists as well as well as traditional bass players so they put the thumb rest where you so it so guitarists could use it to anchor their picking hand.

  • I have an SX with an audere jz3 and a BAII. I'm thinking about upgrading the pickups soon.

Why did you go with the dimarzios?

  • Kinda Wished I knew about these before I got the Squire VM jazz bass. I already modded mine with the BA2 bridge, JZ3, and soon new pickups. I love my Squire but this is so much cheaper and sounds good as well. Rock on!

  • Cool, ive been thinking about getting one of these! i think i will now! The vines are amazing too. Good playing

  • bass on dude!

  • Rockin the SX! NICEEEE

I've got a lake placid blue w/ maple neck 57 sx p bass... I LOVEEEE IT. Makes me want to keep playing bass.

    Nice cover btw!

  • I love the fender decal on the neck..... (noobonroad go hide himself behind a truck)

  • how did he get one of those on there

  • you play the songs right with nice basses but with no groove, keep on :)

  • woooooooooooow

    un aplauso mis respetos :L

    es increible

  • nice job dude, quick question, im thinking of buying one of these basses, did you custom order that color? rondo only has "geddy lee style" basses in sunburst and natural finishes and im diggin the green

  • I just recently saw the green on the website, looks like this one.

  • ya i know what one your talking about, its got a different neck though , i might be buying it soon actually

  • My bad I hadn't noticed. ^_^. I'm thinking about getting one of the basses myself they all look really nice for the price.

  • how good does the hipshot drop d tuner work?

  • so do u have the original pickups on? and also r those pickup covers comfortable to play with on the bass? the only thing i would buy different is rosewood fretboard. btw-great playing!i like how you can keep that melody goin!

  • Thanks man! These are DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups. The cover needs some getting used to, but it looks so damn nice on the bass, I couldn't take it off. Haha.

  • cualquier pndjo pued hacrlo!!!!! pobre chamaco pendejo!!! ¬¬ ponte a estudiar ademas se oie bien cagado!! ¬¬

  • pretty good nice sound!

  • it sound so thin, which amp you have?

  • I'm using a MarkBass CMD102P 2x10 combo. It actually sounds pretty deep when I play my Mustang or Precisions.

  • if you put american pick ups on a mexican jazz will it really make a big difference in sound?

  • Forgot to add, my first bass was a Yamaha RBX170 and funnily enough, even after 7-8 years of solid play...it's still alive!

Needs a revamp tho, which I think it's earned.

I learnt everything I know on it from fingerstyle play to double thump...I can't just throw it away!

Yamaha instruments are made SOLID and that's a fact.

  • HAHA! I like your style.

I recently bought a Yamaha RBX270J and heavily modded it.

It's staying passive but it has a DiMarzio Will Power middle pup, BassLines 1/4 Jazz bridge pup, HipShot Bass Xtender and many others to come.

  • Nice! My very first bass was a Yamaha RBX170, which is still alive to this day. Those things are built like tanks, great for modding.

  • Glad you agree.

One day, you should be able to see and hear it here but...it may take a while.

  • what the hell? thats great man! how are those preamps?

  • Thanks man! I took this thing to a rehearsal a couple of weeks ago and was actually asked to turn down, which has never happened in my 2 x manic guitarist, 1 x overzealous keyboardist band. Amazing! With that said, the Audere just kicks ass. The Audere + DiMarzio combo makes this thing cut through the mix like a hot knife through butter.

  • Hey what wood is the body of your bass made of. Thanks by the way it sounds awesome.

  • Thanks man. The body is made of ash, which partly explains the bright tone.

  • ohh that's great thanks i am planning to get a new bass and this one sounded very good.

  • hey dud do u have the tabs for that cause the ones i got are rong :(

    cheers:)

  • sorry mate, I figured this out by ear. I don't use tabs much.. I sometimes use chord charts to find the roots then I figure out the rest from there.

  • bah ok thanx anywayz

  • nice

  • thanks.
