  • This would be cool see turned into an actual show on CN. I'm sure Seth with all his power and influence could make it happen.

  • Holy shit. I remember watching this sketch a long ass time ago... back in the 90's I think. I had no idea it was by Seth MacFarlane, but now that I watch it again I hear his voice loud and clear. Damn... I actually like this more than his other work. I'm not a family guy fan.

  • I seen this when I was younger

  • I think as a kid I didn't find this funny. I was Waiting for Dexter's Lab or Cow & Chicken to begin.

  • remember this as a kid havent seen it again till now.

  • @coctail775 Me too. I had to idea it was McFarlane.

  • I remember seeing this when I was little on Cartoon Network.

  • this is where brian came from then in family guy lol

  • 2:22 "Stewie's has always got good stuff!"

  • @wyatt9600

    1997 :)

  • "luke, this is your landlord, you still havent returned my weed wacker" lol!

  • Gotta wonder though if this was actually approved for more episodes, would there ever have been a Family Guy

  • I remember this one. lol I knew it had to be from Seth cause it sounded just like family guy. He used Peter and Brians voices. I was just a kid when this came out

  • the pilot is quagmire. lol

  • @multiworldleader he even looks like him a little bit haha

  • the stores name that larry mentioned in the car was stewies!

  • OMG! I remember this! :D That was so awesome ( still is )!

  • its quagmire!!!!!!! :D

  • Seth does basically his normal voice for both steve and Brian-- so they sound the same.

  • Ahhh good ol family guy

  • i remember seeing this when i was younger, but it was on OH yeah! cartoons on Nickelodeon. everyone thought i was trippin when i called peter -larry.

  • I remember when this first aired as part of the "cartoon cartoon" series on Cartoon Network. Looking back and watching it again this is clearly above the head of it's intended age group of kids 13 and under. Jokes like "Youth in Asia" and the dynamite being contrived are things I didn't understand back then.

  • Pardon me? Would you have any Yellow Redneck Mustard?

  • This could have been good. Although, I'm not sure what more they coulda done with these characters without it not getting old.

  • @NitoSpeak Have him meet lois, get him and brian out of that apartment. I'd say they could have made a short series that's funnier than family guy.

  • If you dont get me out of here you will be indirectly responsilbe for the resulting euthanasia... "oh god they have enough kids over there as it is"

  • @ :37, left side of sreen, towards the bak; Lois Griffin prototype?

  • "You will be responsible for the Euthanasia that will take place"

"Oh boy they got enough kids over there as it is"

    Brilliant line.

  • You can tell that larry has an early stage of peter griffins voice.

  • OH MY DAYS!!! I used to watch this when I was younger!!!!!!!!!

  • Love those voices. Great post!

  • I remember seeing this when I was a kid. It's still funny!

  • This is a little to high brow for a children's cartoon.

  • @Vidda90 You must be joking.

  • @JAoMC I think most 8 year olds don't know the word "sprightly"

  • @Vidda90 it was aired after 12 midnight usually, so i guess it wasn't meant completely as a children's cartoon

  • @ArUlric7 This was aired during the evening too, I saw it as a child and i wasn't allowed to stay up until midnight lol.

  • @SamusAbe hehe yeah, growing up in the good ol 90's. nostalgia flashback inc....

p.s. you are now breathing manually

  • looks like the crappiest animation i have ever seen. was this intended for adults? most likely. but still it was alright.

  • THIS IS NOT HIS FIRST Sketch! check your facts mate

  • @thewhulk - his first aired sketch. I can't show you his others now can I?

  • @UndeadOnWifi oooh, NICE LOGICAL COMEBACK AT thewhulk

  • @RevelationWarriors

How mature, want me to pull his other 'ideas' out of my ass and show them to you?

  • @UndeadOnWifi your the one who's immature, i was praising you for your diligence. get on with your life pal, not everyone is attacking you. i'm not the type to start things on websites, i'm to busy enjoying my life to do so. jerk!

  • @RevelationWarriors

Ah my mistake mate. With the caps in your post I got the wrong message. No hard feelings eh'? After you spend so long on the internet you find out that you have to be sarcastic or most other users will rip you to shreds.

    My mistake :)

  • @UndeadOnWifi no worries. i under your perspective. I CAPS LOCK SOMETIMES, because i'm a indie post modern writer and i always forget to uncap them... or i'm just lazy. the internet connects the world, and truth is, the world is very angry, and sometimes stupid. so so sad. take care pal.

  • @UndeadOnWifi actually he was right. this is from 1996, there was one in 1995 with seth inbetween scenes. search youtube for "family guy first pilot from 1995"

  • @UndeadOnWifi and RevelationWarriors and thewhulk

    HAHA IDIOT PEOPLE!

  • I remember watching this!!! This is so awesome that this is one of Seth's cartoons... so awesome.

  • I see where Quagmire came from. The airplane pilot sounds like quagmire and Quagmire is a airplane pilot

  • @PoiBoyProductions1 He also kinda looks like him too. Note the chin.

  • Thanks for the comments guys, I really appreciate it...

  • Very familiar voices....

Brian and Peter are VERY present here :D

  • when cartoons were still good

  • holy crap i remember this.

  • That's too much!

  • awesome

  • this is more of a kids cartoon than an adult one lol

but some of the humor just older kids would understand

'i didnt spend 12 years in kindergarden..' xD

  • the piolet barely looks like quagmire. but alittle of his voice

  • they have the same jaw

  • true

  • same lol but its still a pretty good series...... i liked it atleast :o

  • The voices of peter and brian, i'd never forget those voices. Yes, I can definetly see where they got family guy from.
