All you clowns talking about chips and boxes are wrong... The truck in the video has a monster vp44, which has the added timing of a "chip" and harder than any vp tapped truck. You can added timing or fueling boxes to those pumps but they don't play well together
i dunno i've always been told and see many others say a box!!! while it dose ahve a computer chip in it... chip to me i guess means an actually computer chip u insert into the computer... this is a box (with a computer chip in it) that is then tapped to differant wires within the engine and injection pump sending signals to the computer or what not.... which im not tryin to tell u how they work im sure u know just as well i i do thats just why i and manyother's don't use the word chip!!!
omg really it has a turbo that amazing u dumb fuck and its not a chip that came from the old chevy diesels where they actually installed a CHIP its a FUELING BOX not a chip...
Im in no way a pullin EXPERT nor did i say to be just like to do it... but i do know for a fact that EDGE which is obviously his sponsor dose not make a CHIP that u in stall its a fueling BOX and also dose your boost and the edge dose timing also... look on there web site..
"The Edge Comp module maximizes engine efficiency by monitoring the RPM, timing, turbo boost pressure and fueling parameters of your Cummins engine".... u will see nothin bout a chip there or on tst or quadzilla's site
were im pry sure talkin about the same thing its just not called a CHIP thats the common name for them which came from the old chevy diesel where a actal computer CHIP was put in and the name has just carried on
u keep bringing up chevy...my psd has a chip...to be more specific really anything that is on a circuit board and is plugged into the comp on your truck or w/e vehicle makes that a chip. and a chip sure as fuck will not do anywheres near enough to get where that truck is. youre looking at injectors, pumps, lines, the obvious intakes exhausts, turbo(s), the list continues
Harder fueling*
