I hope to do a ride with a few mates one day but for now its just a dream but how cool it would be to do it! Both of them are great blokes in their own right but to share the trip...its what made the DVD's so great to watch; I'd find it hard for anyone to NOT be inspired or get a laugh out of LWR or LWD?!
The ABC just showed LWR (again), so I went & got the DVD (3 discs)...loved it, now I've just got to get LWD set. Honestly, if you get the chance to do something like this, then do it!

Why do people keep saying he doesn't need Ewan? Did he ever need him? They were just two mates doing a trip together.

I have followed your adventures now on DVD and your my hero! I agree that you don't need Ewan. Lone rider on epic travels just like Palin. I would love to see that (and as a bonus we don't have to see poor Eve fall down 100+ times,).

love ya charley...you dont need ewan...your a adventurer in your own right now...you should do travel doco's on your own...a young version of michael palin on a BMW..first you have to dakar again..

Good interview, interesting and fun. Great to be inspired by people doing the things that they love as well as some backing an amazing organization like Unicef. No I dont work for unicef... i'm just another guy workin for the man in Australia. I enjoy a ride when I can.
