As a cubs fan, I hope the curse may have been lifted. I doubt picking the cat up by its tail helped us in any way. I fear the same cat will return and disrupt a playoff game. Think about it. I would screw them up if I were that cat.

This is way I look at it. He picked it up as nicely as he could given the circumstances the first time, then he just wanted to get it off the field. Also, I would have done the same thing because who's to say that cat didn't have rabies? If he would have gone for his neck and gotten bit, he could contract it. When you are in the heat of the moment, trying to do your job, I'm not sure the first thing you would think of is not hurting the cat.
I love how everyone is cheering for the running cat and it's so hilarious that baseball players are watching while the security people chase it! So funny how everyone booed the guy who dropped that poor kitty!
