  • みなさんお疲れ様です!!

  • Why are people wearing those masks?

  • @Ferhernando in Japan, people usually wear mask when they're sick. Wearing mask would prevent germ from spreading to other people

  • @Ferhernando

A few reasons, all concerning colds:

    1. It might be flu season and they don't want to catch anything.

    2. They might be sick, but still have to go to work. So they wear it to not spread it.

Since the trains are so crowded ait can be easy to spread stuff.

  • LoL 0:50 lower rank corporate smokers lounge, that's bad ass

  • i lived there 4 1/2 years and would defect to japan in a heartbeat

  • you go to the mall in japan and you will see just as much parking if not more for bicycles

  • traffic reduced by railways and bicycles

  • the masks are common courtesy if you are sick

  • I want to visit Tokyo. But what's with all the masks. Pollution? I live in Detroit and I know we have much more pollution.

  • The rush is mad there but they do it in a very calm and quiet way. I found this amazing compared to the US.

  • So quiet!!! no cars horns or noises. Love it!!!!

  • looks like normal japan to me, i see no rush...poor shoe shiners

  • can someone please explain the gas mask thing in Japan!?

  • anyone trying really hard to spot a white person?

  • Enchenté de faire votre connaissance:) C'est formidable:)

  • I want to see Tokyo SO BAD

  • What rush hour are you talking about? Shall we expect Jacki Chan in Japan, hahaha?!

  • TOKYO IS BEAUTIFUL

  • always love your video.. keep uploading... thanks for sharing..

  • that's awesome that they have their designated smoking areas and actually used them

  • Are there designated smoking spots or something? A lot of smokers within a small area.

  • @Clamhead939 Yeah i wondered the same. No smoking on the streets?

  • thank you very much!

  • I LOVE OTKYO VERU MUCH, REMEMBER JAPAN

  • Are those with white thing on their mouth ninjas?

  • @SilvaeTransilvaniae Are you joking, or are you serious...?

  • it looks so cold there atm...

    love the surrounding buildings though

  • Interesting to see how many people have colds right now.

  • 1日で35コメントもつくのか、、、凄いな。

  • love Tokyo

  • Fantastico !!!! Grazie good video.

  • wearing a mask has nothing to do with SARS. if you have a cold in japan its very common and polite to wear a mask. you know, so that you dont infect others as much

  • Loved it! Thank you for your hard work

  • i like how Japanese people are so polite, they only smoke in one spot.

well in my country Indonesia, people just smoke everywhere, in a public place, in cybercaffe, even in the public transportation.

even 4 years old already smoking like an adult... in my country (::facepalm::)

  • @NotSoGoodFilm It's actually a designated smoking area. It's the same with Hong Kong... laws are getting strict

  • why is it

lol anyways i love ur vids! <3 thanks for uploading!

  • great quality, consistency and and overall wonderful vid!

  • thank you again for uploading this new video

  • Please tell me what camera did you use for this? thank you

  • Love these video's. Do rush hour at Shinjuku station, or Shinagawa station. Now, those are BUSY!!!

  • Smoking is not so cool anymore, if you have to stand there like a bunch of fools eh? :P

  • 99% of the business people wear white shirts

  • So many people dressed in black too, probably because of the salary men out of the companies isn't it?

  • the working life, the economic slumping, disasters slipping in and out, more hobos and depression sets in...what im seeing from the video.

  • @chroniclesofervil

    You're thinking too much.

  • @Aolaris are you avoiding the reality?

  • @chroniclesofervil

I doubt a foreigner like you understands the human geography of Japan.

  • @Aolaris Every part of the world, there is always the bad side about it. Yes,definitely as a cameraman, I will only shoot the beautiful sights of a country. Tokyo also had homeless man living around every now and then. The human geography of Japan is there is good and bad. Everywhere is the same,so I doubt that you telling me that I'm thinking too much? This is reality,so is it bad talking about it or even bad that you insist on such a topic?

  • @chroniclesofervil

What I am merely saying is see the video at it is. This video does not contain scenes of, "the economic slumping, disasters slipping in and out, more hobos and depression sets in." No need for you to type paragraphs, you can go be a haughty imbecile somewhere else.

  • @Aolaris I guess this is the reality that most of people like you are avoiding today. Japan is beautiful when he is shooting, but the reality over there like US is cannot be avoided. They have awesome animes, jpop to local scenes. But that all falls apart when the economy is slumping and the world had become disastrous when every now and then; there is hurricanes and in my country also had earthquakes. Stop seeing only the good sides.

  • @chroniclesofervil

I find it ironic when one dolt tries to lecture a learned person.

  • @Aolaris If u're learned person,then there is nothing I can say..enjoy the video.

  • @chroniclesofervil

I'll just say that you're too cynical and I'm not avoiding anything. Japan is a MDC that can prevent a economic system collapse when a disaster happens compared to a LDC like Haiti. Excuse me for being vague.

  • @chroniclesofervil that describes america, not this video

  • Wow Tokyo isn't that busy during rush hour, I was expecting a lot worse.

  • @AutonomyJuan These are one of the pleasant days of Tokyo Rush hour(And trust me it's still pretty chaotic but I absolutely love it based on my experiences in Japan). The "bad" days are much worst than New York at times especially at the Ginza District and of course Tokyo Central Station. But Tokyo and even all of Japan is still one of the greatest places on Earth.

  • @strongtheory I have to agree with you on this, I live in Hollywood and are "Bad" days feels like everybody on the planet is on the boulevard; But the days that are slow, really makes us appreciate where we live.

  • @AutonomyJuan there are plenty of people, just less cars. and a calmer atmosphere. the people here are really sophisticated. i liked being in tokyo and i hope i can live there someday

  • I have a question.

a 1:00 there are some people smoking in one spot. are there specific areas that you are allowed to smoke?

in the uk you can walk down the street smoking but is that the same in japan?

    thanks.

  • @GaurdianAnubisHD You are not allowed to smoke while walking in Tokyo. Don't know about the rest of japan, cuz I have only been to Tokyo. So yes, there are smoking areas.

  • @Chiisai1987 ah thanks for letting me know.

im planing to go to japan next year and if i had not know that i wood have been smoking anywhere i liked.

    thanks again.

  • @Chiisai1987 we had the same thing in the Marine Corps. "smoke pits"

  • @GaurdianAnubisHD AROUND AREAS OF THIS VIDEO,IF YOU SMOKE WHILE WALKING,YOU MUST PAY THE PENALTY.

  • So much people :) Thank you for another nice video!

  • so much smoking they look like a chimney.

  • @linkinpain Rush Hour so many ppl get off work and would like to smoke one.. It dasn't reflect off to the whole population.

  • why is there a guy wearing masK?

  • @taix250 They do it to prevent spread of diseases etc. Even just the common cold. It's deemed normal in Japan.

  • @tomtucjr ok cool

  • Comment removed

  • @taix250 Thats a SARS-Mask!

  • @beerdeddi1 what are they using it for ?

  • @RizE62 You know SARS? Someone believes, the virus still exist. but Somebody of the japaneses are sick in the head.

  • @beerdeddi1 I think it's just their way of not getting others involved when they are sick. This is just my opinion, but I see people wear those masks and when I ask why they wear it, they say it's because they are sick.

  • Beautiful! i love Tokyo! :-O
