  • Could anyone tell me where to download this song, or where to find the album please?

  • He has remarakable vocal control, I don't think I've ever heard a treble quite like him

  • wow, F6

  • Splendid!!

  • how old?

  • @AndresSopranista and @ thehotvicaronamyl

Ummm...can we just enjoy the music please? I don't care what Mr. Cenic does in his personal life, I just love his singing.

If you guys want to argue, use your inbox! :P

  • @cabbalistic LOL. yes that is very true. Well But IMO, if I hear most of the todays sopranists, they REALLY DO sing like women, and not like angels like castrati where suppoused to be. If you listen, to Patrick Husson, he really does NOT sound like a woman, but like a grown up NORMAL man, with a BOY voice. similar also with terry wey. and aris christofellis like a castrato. but the rest NONE has the purity of a boy. because they sing like WOMEN! arno raunig kinda is also like a boy, but" cocky "

  • @cabbalistic :and the rest of the sopranists and most counters are "affeminate/woman imitators. ALL OF THEM. IF you listen to MORESCHI, he does NOT sound AFFEMINATE, NOT EVEN FOR A SINGLE SECOND. he sounds like a suffering MAN with a BOY LARYNX. BUT STILL, this magic of HOLY INNOCENCE and PURITY can be heard on moreschi. Michael Chance, I can hear he is very pure also. NON affeminate or woman imitator. BUT MOST CAN NEVER KEEP THEIR PURITY OF CHILDHOOD. perhaps SCHOLL,but also a bit too "cocky"

  • @cabbalistic : and I could also name,Radu Marian, but he does not sound so " pure ", he sounds angelical, yes, but its rather a bit " misterious " and somehow.... I dont trust fully in his voice. Its like magic, but maybe it has some dark forbiden secret behind it. YES , I am a person who can TRUST voices, or not. Thas is how i am.

  • @AndresSopranista

    what do you mean?

  • @AndresSopranista Get a life.

  • @AndresSopranista I should say, get a life... and an English grammar! :-D

  • @AndresSopranista you are not full of sadness, you are full of hatred. There is no hope for you.

  • @AndresSopranista I have just reported you for offensive and harrassing comments. Your ignorant fundamentalist bile is not welcome here.

  • @AndresSopranista THAT COMMENT JUST SHOWS HOW POOR IN SPIRIT IS HIS AUTHOR...NOTHING LESS NOTHING MORE THAN THIS...

  • How cool is this!

  • Amazing.

  • Just perfect!!!

  • Très très beau! Merci pour la vidéo! AV

  • i have the voice of a 14 year old in the body of a 26 year old of 180 cm tall :D

  • "Am I allowed..." Very polite to say but unnecessary: you have provided a service to us and given us a gift of especially beautiful music and singing. Thank you for sharing, and I hope you continue to do so.

In the 1956 recording, I found more than warm tone. The performance also showed a superior understanding of the music, an appropriate tempo, and nuanced interpretation. Despite the sound distortion, I saved the video; but I also hope that someone finds a clean recording and shares it.

  • I think that everyone who has listened to boy sopranos / trebles agrees that Max had one the most amazing technical skills ever. When young, his voice had a hard edge. I preferred the warm tone of Steven Mockel, Conor Burrowes, and Richard Bonsall. Ironically, Max's voice now has become much richer with a more pronounced vibrato. This piece, however, is an absolute "kick!"

  • There comes a point at which, all technical considerations aside, stylistic differences render comparison between them invidious. Connor and Richard, Max, Clint and Terry all belong in the league of the "Incomparable". (Steven's voice I don't know.) I would add one more - Aled Jones. I enjoy them all and never cease to be amazed by the wonderful sounds they make, each unique and uniquely moving. My "desert island 8" would be completed by Panito Iconomou and Andrew Swait.

  • Am I allowed to recommend the videos (slide shows) with the 1956 soloists (twins) "Jankowitsch" ? There you will find a "warm tone" too...:)

  • Stunning!

  • Very few boy sopranos can match the technical skills of Max Emanuel. He was born with a magnificent chance to show the world what the unchanged boy's voice can do, and he has done a magnificent job. One can pick at little tiny flaws that seem to limit his excellence to perhaps 95% of perfection, but given the instrument, his age and talents, this is probably as close to perfection as a boy soprano can get. Bravo, Max Emanuel.

  • When I first heard this many years ago I thought it the finest performance technically I had ever heard from a boy, and that remains the same today. He shows coloratura technique carried off with astonishing perfection and panache. I must admit to preferring Terry Wey's vocal tone and Clint van der Linde's interpretative skills but, for sheer technique, Max stands alone.

  • Magnifique prestation de Max Emanuel! Merci

  • Another great moment.

  • très beau!! et c'est pourtant difficile à chanter!!

  • I don't think I've heard another treble this proficient. :)

  • very good ... !!!! splendid
