Nice fish you guys are getting. I really like the slob you guys landed in the other video. Interesting way to catch them. Are you using buctails with cutbait? Must be fishing pretty deep for 3 oz. Nice fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was an Awesome video!!! One of the best i've ever seen imo! Seeing him through the ice WaY DoWn there like that was just too cool. and in the end when he got off at the hole made the vid even that much better.
this kicks ass bro, fish probably between 9-12 lbs is my guess.. So you said you fish 250 feet of water. Thats incredibly deep, is it normal for lakers to hang out that deep consistently?
@guitarfuckinrocks Yes these fish even hang out in deeper water. Researchers have captured lake trout in over 1,300 feet of water on Lake Superior. When we fish them in the winter we like going deep.
Thats unreal, what time of year do they slide into the depths? i love your expressions, pretty exciting stuff.. Do you just use a bunch of dacron line on a hand spool with like a 20 pound test leader? must be fun pull a 30 pounder up 250 feet by hand.
@guitarfuckinrocks You can always find lakers in deep deep water on the great lakes. We use 30-60 lb wire line wrapped on a wodden bobb'n hoop. The wire lets us feel ever hit and gives us a good hook set. Glad you enjoyed the vids.
im only 14 and have never been to superior, i have been to lake michigan in the summer and caught a 20 pounder but i have always wanted to go up to supirior in the winter, that was a nice fish man, sucks that the walleye and northern season ended last weekend :(
You guys have the best Ice fishing video's I've ever seen on YouTube! What State are you from? I'm in Minnesota and haven't tried the big lake yet, but your video's make me want to!!
Thank you very much. We are from WI. The big lake isn't making much ice this year. I don't know if we'll be able to get out there this year. Glad you enjoyed the vids. Have you been to our website?
we were out on lake superior fishing about 240-250 feet of water. Most of the fish are right on the bottom. Cut bait on a big jig works pretty well for the most part. good luck. glad you enjoyed the video.
Does not care if he didnt get it up.
Because he wasnt going to eat it:/

At least you got in on camera. Is it true that if they come to the surface like that they later die? Something to do with pressure?
