@EntertainmentAddams the wcked make up takes around 20 minutes to apply, she needs to undergo the complete transformation in 7 minutes, there isnt enough time, and the water colour make up won't cover her prosthetic pieces anyway, the prosthetic just sucks up the colour

why not just use japanese water brushes like they do in "Wicked"?

@disneydanny2 Because the paint is a thicker (?) silicone-based paint (rather than water based) so it blends well with the prosthetic nose and chin

@JBLoveSong tbf when they do the make-up for Elphaba the actress can be in it all day because she never appears 'de-green' whereas the actress playing the wicked witch has to play Miss Gulch too so airbrushing is more practical and quicker.
