@61rickortiz i custom made them using 1/8 steel piano wire and custom bending jig,

spring steel, had to heat red hot to bend it , its very strong and will not bend or crush like brake line or mild steel , if i ram a rock hard it just flexes and springs back ,i brazed these but now have a small mig and weld them its faster and easier

nice video... love my hilux too... wanted to ask you what camera you are using, but found the answer while scrolling through through comments. what video editor are you using? i'm looking out for alternatives to swap out windows movie maker so that I can do HD clips instead of vga for our group's crawling videos...

@myhonchosg old beta live movie maker 2.6 is all i use ,with hi end PC so it works with HD footage

with out crashing, it has render opinions for full hd 1080p /720p , i shoot in 720p at 60fps in short 5-10 min max clips.

then i upload the footage 1 clip at a time from SSD built into the the camera directly into movie maker then go through that 1clip slowing down the parts i want then save to hard drive in 720p or 1080p .then the next clip import slow ,save, then

@myhonchosg after all clips are slowed and saved to hard drive . i close WLMM down . then open it back up.import all clips 1.2.3.4.5 you just saved .edit all the parts out you dont want cut chop and dice it up ..then save as one clip to hard drive ,then close wlmm, open it back up import full clip you just saved ,add music cut, chop, edit ,again to suit music ,add intro ect ect

Finnish and save , done , the program is very fussy , takes time to learn how to work with it ,

or it just crashes ,

Hey Turbo, cool vid! Very nice rig !!! Funny- I had a new 88 toy 4x4 4cyl no Factory options,5 weeks old, took it SCUBA diving, to deep a water-mud hole, STUCK!! spun the crank bearings!! That was a nice fun to drive truck too! "NO SNORKLE"!! Dumb!.hehehe! got it fixed though.The ol days!!

took it places that i walked home from ,left it there over night in creeks and bogg holes .they were never much of a 4x4 with no diff locks ,good fun hand winching them out.,:( NOT

@MrRangerover1996 its a 18 month old toshiba camelo x`100 HD cam very small shooting in 720p at 60fps . rendered in full HD and slowed 1/2 speed. it has chips on the lens from RC roost been dropped in a creek, filled with beach sand and mud, it just keeps going.

the xl5 esc dose not have drag brake. not good for rock crawling, but makes a great water proof esc for scale rigs for this type of driving condition's
