@aldridgeo Yes - I can remember those tv shows , great memories . Gilbert says Andy Williams once contacted him because he wanted to sing WE WILL in a tv show but couldn`t understand the line " I bagsy being in goal " ! Don`t know if he ever did it - maybe an Andy Williams fan could tell us .....

@SuperKarend Hi Maria - yes Gilbert wrote both these songs himself ( he writes all his own songs ) and he was the first to record them . Everyone seems to love `Alone Again ` - it`s been done by lots of other artists over the years which is a great compliment to Gilbert .

@jeydee35 Hi jeydee - so good to hear from you . I love finding these cover versions of Rays songs . I must admit I have a lot of respect for Andy Williams , he`s made some terrific music over the years and seems to have been around forever ! I think `Alone Again`is really nice but I`m not sure if `Who was it `suits him very well - It seems funny hearing Andy sing " getting it with your fist down below " ! lol We`ll talk soon - take care .

@mohawk3881 Mo...just a side note, today December 3rd is Andy Williams' birthday, he is 83 now. I agree with you he did a good job on Alone Again but i think Who Was It is just a bit too fast.

@jeydee35 Thanks jeydee for that - wow - 83 and I`m pretty sure he`s still performing . He`s one of the last of those great singers of that generation - I can only think of him and Tony Bennett still with us . Gilbert should be proud he`ll be part of his musical legacy .
